Hello everyone!

What do you all do if you’ve accidentally slept through the night in your makeup or sunscreen? 🙈

I imagine we’ve all been there at one time or another.

This rarely happens to me nowadays but if it does it’s usually because I am so very tired or busy.

I’ll wake up in the morning and have an uh-oh moment. Then I do the following:

1. Double cleanse:
 a. An skin-soothing cleansing balm
 b. A gentle foaming cleanser 
2. Double mask: 
 a. Use a clay mask (non-drying preferably) or a chemical exfoliating solution/mask
 b. Use a hydrating mask
3. hydrating toner
4. Hydrating serum 
5. Acne fighting serum
6. Soothing moisturizer 
7. SPF 50+

After all that I hope/wish/pray that I don’t breakout too much! 😅

A new Retinal Night Cream for your well-aging routine. Targets pigmentation & the first signs of aging.

ᴡʜᴀᴛ ɪs ʀᴇᴛɪɴᴀʟ?
It’s NOT the same as Retinol! However BOTH are derivatives of Vitamin A.
Retinol takes 2 conversions to become Retinoic Acid, while Retinal (also known as retinaldehyde) only takes one step. Which also means it can be more irritating than Retinol.
I have been using Retinols consistently for over a year with great success. This is my first Retinal experience.

0.03% Retinal, 1% Bakuchiol, Niacinamide, Sodium Hyaluronate, Centella Asiatica Extract, Beta Glucan, Vitamin E, Fig Extract, Ceramide NP, Macadamia Seed Oil

ᴛʜᴇ Feel
It’s neon yellow, which can be slightly alarming but it does not stain or add color to the skin.
Consistency is beautiful. The moisturizer is very spreadable & easy to use. Layers without any issues. It adds mid-weight moisture. 

ᴀ ʟɪᴛᴛʟᴇ ᴀʙᴏᴜᴛ ᴍᴇ
I am in my mid-30s, am acne prone & have combo skin. Dealing with the first signs of aging and pigmentation (acne marks, sun damage).

ʀᴇᴠɪᴇᴡ 
I am sharing my observations as I review it over the weeks:

patch test to ensure no reaction 👍🏼
𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝟭 
started using a few nights a week.
End of week: mild purging begins.
𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝟮 
increase usage to every other night. 
End of Week: mild breakouts stopped & began to heal. Noticed recent acne marks on right cheek are lightened slightly (see photo)
𝗕𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝟯 
skin is slightly dryer than usual, added another layer of moisturizer to my routine.

I absolutely adore this cream. I will continue to use this & definitely plan to purchase another bottle.

ᴛɪᴘs
- please remember this is a treatment in the form of a moisturizer. start slow & take precautions 
- Never skip sunscreen 
- Reduce other exfoliants in your routines

Fatty Acids, Sea Water, Tansy Oil, Azulene, 5 Amino Acids

This has that typical gel cream texture. However it’s quite moisturizing without being heavy. You can feel a burst of hydration when you apply it. It doesn’t leave me sticky 
It provides long lasting moisture and doesn’t make me greasy. This is best suited towards combo, dry or dehydrated skins.
Although there are essential oils, to my nose, it doesn’t specifically smell like anything at all.
I am seriously enjoying this one, it’s exactly what my skin needs right now.


Each of these sheet masks have a somewhat strong floral-honey type of scent that lingers until you remove the mask.

Okay so I think these Bombee Sheet Masks are arguably what Papa Recipe are most famous for.

Panthenol, Arginine, Allantoin, Ginger, Green Tea, Grapefruit, Honey, Propolis 

𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄
The sheet mask material is thin and soft yet doesn’t tear easily. They are packed with so much essence, there is plenty left over for another round!
Every one I’ve tried left my skin so soft, plump and well hydrated! They do the job so well, feel so hydrating and wonderful that I thoroughly enjoyed them!
I was able to wear these masks a good 20 or so minutes before I felt they were ready to remove.
I don’t often use a sheet mask but these ones are worth the effort.

Nothing bad to say here, this was a great cream to try

Firstly, this is a whopping 150ml of product, which is very generous for a moisturizer. 
Next, Lesley’s talk about the name, ummm “juicy cream” = yes please!
This isn’t quite a gel moisturizer, it has more of a lotion like consistency. It feels rich, nourishing and moisturizing without the typical heavy or suffocating experience usually associated with these types of creams.
It’s the PERFECT evening moisturizer for me during these very HOT days. I wake up with comfortable, happy and non-greasy skin. 👌🏼
If you’re team oily/combo this will make an excellent evening moisturizer. 
If you’re team dry skin, try this one during the day.
I was pleasantly surprised by this one and I’m so glad I chose it! 

Mineral Water, Centella, Madecassocide, Aloe, Panthenol, Allantoin, & multiple weight of Hyaluronic acid

This toner feels slightly thicker than the other and feels more hydrating as well. Jumiso chose to use mineral water here, which I thought was interesting. When my skin is sensitive or overheated, this is a nice one to reach for. I’m really enjoying this as part of any routine but especially when I have my period (my skin is much angrier then )
