Saw a post online saying that micellar water can help reduce blackhead and whiteheads. 

Is this true? I have blackheads on my nose and I’ve tried the cosrx AHA/BHA toner which doesn’t help much. Really hope something else could help with this problem.

This has been bugging me for so long. 

Everytime I apply a product, be it toner/serum/moisturiser, my skin would feel so sticky. It’s like my skin is not absorbing the product. 

Is it because I’m using more than what is needed?

Sticky products

I have used the cosrx aha bha toner before. I used it on a daily basis and switched to another product because I feel like I’m not seeing any results. Recently, I found out it’s actually an exfoliator 😳🤭.  

I poured few drops on a cotton and wiped it a cross my face. I did soak cotton pad with it and let it sit on my face for few minutes. Did I use it in a wrong way?

How do I use it as an exfoliator?

Please help 😳😳

Not a big con becuase this ampoule is not market as a hydrating serum but its not hydrating enough in an airconditioned environment. 

I received this prosucr for free from picky and BYECOM. 

Formulated with Centella asitica to soothe skin, human Oligo peptide to provide the vitality of the tired skin, and azadiracta indica to help manage troubled skin, this ampoule aims to moisturise, soothe and protect skin from the outside environment.

This ampoule has a natural transparent sky blue colour in a watery consistency. I apply a thin layer of this ampoule to my skin and it doesnt absorb well into my skin becuase I often find my skin to be sticky after application, but sometimes the sticky residue doesnt happen. I suppose this is due to the external circumstances and not the fault of the ampoule.

In terms of its soothing claim, there is no noticeable soothing on the sensitive area around my nose area from short term use but I find that the tiny little bumps around my nose area has reduced! 

I find that the ampoule is generally hydrating enough but when I’m in an air-conditioning environment all day I need to top up my skin hydration level with a separate hydrating serum. I felt that this is a much needed add-on step. 

I’d recommend this to anyone whose priority is to soothe their troubled skin.

Im not sure if its my problem or the eye cream but it doesnt seem to absorb into my skin

It has a milky cream like texture and scent free. It doesn’t leave my under eye greasy. Since I’ve only use this for a short while, it’s understandable that I don’t see any improvement in reducing hyperpigmentation/ dark circle but I have no complaint for this eye cream since skin does have any negative reactions to it. I’ll definitely finish the two mini-s in this set.

Soft and plump cotton pads packed with carrot extract, carrot seed oil and beta gluten, the essence itself is very hydrating in keeping my cheek without any viscosity, and provides the much needed calming effect to the redness around my nose. 

It’s a personal cheat-day essence that I use to keep my routine short and simple, the essence in just 1 pad is more than enough for my face. It absorbs faster into my skin than I expected and I could easily finish my routine with a moisturiser. Definitely recommending this to sensitive skin or anyone who wants to minimise their routine. 

The sheet mask is too big for my face and the serum from the mask once drop into my eye because it is not very well fitted on my skin. But this is acceptable as it need to cater for the average face size. 

I received this product for free from picky and BYECOM for my honest review. 

This is my favourite among the mask and the calming ampoule! The mask is soaked with 25ml of the calming ampoule which is the reason why its dripping from the ampoule when I took it out from the package.

The mask size is a little too big for me and is not exactly fitted on my skin, but I love how glowing and plump my skin always feel after using it for 20 minuets as mentioned on the package. The mask itself doesnt dry off and I use the remaining ampoule on it on my neck and legs to get the most out of the mask.

I tried waiting for the remaining ampoule from the mask to be absorbed into my skin, but its a long wait! So I eventually apply a moisturiser while my skin is still damp. On days when im impatient, I would just wash it off after waiting for 5 minutes and continue with my routine. Either way, my skin is really cool to touch and is more resilient. 

Few points to note 
🏵As I mentioned, it causes redness on my face but it works perfectly fine on my legs. 
🏵The price is not for everyone as it’s about Rm200 for 50ml.

🌼Personal experience 
This moisturiser is super lightweight and has a very thin texture in that it doesn’t leave a sheen on texture unless you apply more than necessary. It absorbs into the skin quickly and it feels super plump and refreshing. 

It has a faint scent but I’m not bothered by the scent because it fades after application. 

It claims to soothe irritated skin but unfortunately, after using it for some time, I notice redness on my cheek area. I wasn’t sure if it is just healing my broken barrier or is just a natural response upon application. I stop using the cream instantly. And now I used it on my legs which are so dry that I see the flaky skin coming off. In terms of dry skin, I’d say this cream is perfect in hydrating my skin as I notice the flaky skin is no longer there and my legs feel very smooth.
