I have been using this one for a month or so but I used the cerave retinol serum for a year- what was your experience with the elf retinol- how long did it take for it to work for you

Did make me breakout and had redness by itself but if you use moisturizer with it- it should still have the same results without the harshness!

It really seems to work for my pores and smoothing of acne scaring the only issue i had in the beginning was that I used it by itself- and I broke out and got redness because of this- the way I helped it be less harsh was to mix in 3-4 drops with moisturizer in my palm and put the moisturizer on my face- that calmed my face down and helped the breakouts and redness!

Works well- doesn’t have a purging period at least for me. I have oily t zone and normal/dry cheeks and its fine with a bit of moisturizer!
