People really need to stop spamming comments and creating mindless discussion just for the sake of points. While i know everyone wants to win giveaways, you shouldn't do it carelessly.

Some people genuinely asks question and expect honest answers from you but these people just drop their ig usernames/suggest product that they ALREADY said doesn't work on them. It is painfully obvious that you either don't care or don't read their question properly. 

Same goes to the people who create discussion with one sentence ( ' i love ---------  so much' ) and ends it like that. 

I notice this since the COSRX giveaway is announced. This app used to be so informative and helpful, but i couldn't help to be slightly irritated when i encounter these type of people.

I don't know if i am being too sensitive/emotional, but what's your thoughts about this?

Yesterday, Picky sent me an email stating that the shipping could be delayed due to the lockdown happening currently in Malaysia.

The most divine, delicious smelling cleansing balm i ever used, by skintific ! 

🍨 Scent: more candy, gummy-like rather than ice cream

🍨 Bonus point: vegan + cruelty free

🍦Notes: 

It takes off makeup with no effort, but does need a second rinse for waterproof makeup as it can leave miniscule traces behind. Doesn't stings your eyes when used and leaves no film residue.  The balm doesn't leave your skin squeaky clean but just refreshed and clean.

Huge point to the sweet candy scent that  makes it addicting to use (lowkey wanna lick it but don't let your intrusive thought win !!! 🤠🤠) and the build in scoop -- no more missing scoop. 

Compared to Heimish Cleansing balm, it was on par in term of cleansing effectiveness. And the scent definitely more pleasing rather than the herbal balm.

I don't find any fault in the product except it's quite hard to find here in Malaysia 😭

It is definitely a hassle-free serum and very gentle on skin. It contains 70% centella water extract to calm down redness and skin inflammation. 

Texture: watery consistency

Finishing: absorbed well without feeling greasy, and it leaves a subtle dewy sheen on face

Scent: it doesn't contain any fragrance, but it does have this slight sweet(?) scent that is subtle and pleasing on the nose.

Extra note: cruelty-free brand.

It is definitely a hassle-free serum and very gentle on skin. It contains 70% centella water extract to calm down redness and skin inflammation. 

It won't diminished your redness or acne, but it helps to minimize it and makes it feels less painful and noticeable. 

I think it works on all skin type due to its gentle formulation. No fragrance, essential oil or alcohol.
And it does provide ample hydration too for the skin. The texture is watery, similar to toner/essence, making it comfortable to use during summer. 

🍊 Only downside is the dropper. It is quite hard to pick up product and gets messy around the opening. I think airless pump would suit it better.

🍊 For me, this seems like a dupe for pastels shop AAG serum ! They both have emulsion texture, non greasy finishing and mild on skin. And both prices are quite affordable too. 

🍊 After using it for a while, it does help a lot in brightening dull skin, without experiencing any tingling sensation when used. i think ' slow but steady' is best to describe this serum. The effect isn't immediate but you can see improvement after constant usage.

It contains citrus oil and witch hazel. And the scent of tea tree is quite strong when applied.  For oily skin, using too much of these could gives you an oily sheen on your face. And for dry skin, it isn&#39;t moisturizing enough for night routine or for  winter use.

🌾 My experience 
I have been using for a week and half , hence the short review. It doesn&#39;t cause me any purging since it has a very gentle exfoliating properties. It is a lightweight cream but hydrating enough for my skin. It doesn&#39;t feels heavy and perfect to use during hot weather. It comes in a plastic jar and no spatula provided.

No irritation occurs despite the essential oil in this and it absorbs well into skin.  And i don&#39;t really have acne when using this except for occasional whiteheads. 

🐣 Texture and scent 
It is a lightweight cream without leaving tacky and sticky finishing. However it does take some time to be absorbed into skin. It smell like tea tree oil and citrusy. It wasn&#39;t pleasant but at least it wasn&#39;t as strong. 

📌 Ingredient 
It has 70.78% centella , niacinamide , tea tree , aloe , ceramide and tons of botanical extract like thyme , rosemary and eggplant.

Definitely wasn't a fan of the sparkles in it. As it could be irritating on sensitive skin. Also, it has no other beneficial purpose other than aesthetic. 

Retinol for beginner ✨
Skintific  Gentle- A Retinol Renewal Serum

Quick review 
✅ very gentle on skin 
✅ No dryness even with direct contact/no sandwich method 
✅ Help inflammed acne to soothe/heal faster
✅ The encapsulated bead are non-abrassive and burst when in contact with skin 
❌It seems to have some sparkly flakes in there which i don't prefer much

Personal experience 
🌸 For me personally, retinol can be quite intimidating. Especially, when people mention the purging phase and the potential of breakout 🥲

🌸 Definitely you gotta start slow and build your way up. So, this one is definitely one of the suitable choice for sensitive skin. The 1% encapsulated retinol makes it way more gentle on skin. Since i am used to retinol, i had straight away used the serum without patch test, but no new zits pops out. (For reference, i used 2% granactive retinoid)

🌸 It was non-drying even for combo-dry skin, but you can always patch test first or use sandwich method if that fits your skin better. I notice slight improvement of skin texture, but needs longer time to see faded scars.
