Hey everyone 👋, has anyone tried AmorePacific creams (either Time Response or Moisture Plumping) before? I have sample sizes and would like to know how was the experience and did you have any reaction to it. My skin changes depending on the season (drier in winter and slightly oily in summer) but I find it’s getting a little drier than before. Thanks 🙏

Has anyone tried Some By Mi Cica Peptide Anti Hair Loss Derma Scalp Shampoo (what a long name)? Saw it on Instagram and never knew they had shampoos. Wonder if it’s any good. By bro-in-law & hubs keeps grumbling about their loss of hair as they age 😅. Thoughts anyone? Pic was taken off Instagram.

I received these products for free from Picky and Be The Skin in exchange for my honest review. The products are: 
- BHA + Cleansing Foam
- BHA + Toner
- BHA + Serum
- BHA + Cream 

I received these products just days ago 😢 & unfortunately I cannot give a thorough review as 3 days is not enough to see a difference (before due date). I will be giving my first impressions and how I feel about the products after using them twice a day and for 3 days. 

*EDIT: it has been a week now and I have not used every product everyday as the cleanser made my skin feel tight and dry. The serum was starting to make my skin feel sensitised. 

1. Cleanser & Claims:
- Removes dead skin cells, makeup residue, clogged pores & blackhead without irritation 
- Thoroughly cleanse & smooth skin while protecting the skin barrier
- Removes greasiness without tightness 
- Keep skin moist & comfortable after washing

Thoughts 💭:
Strong woody scent hits you when applied. Will not appeal to those who are not used to woody or medicinal smell in their skincare routine. Felt a bit stripping on my skin after cleansing. Foams easily but unfortunately has fragrance (last ingredient on the list). I would prefer not to have any fragrance however, this did not irritate my skin or cause me to have redness but felt tight and dry. 

2. Toner & Claims:
- Gentle toner
- Calms irritated or troubled skin
- 85% naturally derived Willow-BHA to smooth skin
- Clears pores and gets rid of excess sebum and dead skin cells

Thoughts 💭:
Simple and straightforward product. Didn’t wow or disappoint me. Does not have fragrance but has natural scent of willow bark extract. Does contain alcohol. On the whole, it was an average product. 

3. Serum & Claims:
- Helps with troubled and rough skin, excess sebum & clogged pores
- Smoothen skin, clear pores while soothe sensitised skin

Thoughts 💭: 
Has a medicinal / woody scent. Has fragrance (middle of the ingredient list) and would prefer if they not add it in the serum. The first few days, my skin was alright with it but slowly began to feel sensitised and have small breakouts. 

4. Cream & Claims: 
- Wrinkle improvement & brightening function 
- Intensively cares for dark spots
- Prevent dark spots, blemishes & fine lines from appearing 
- Lifting & strengthening skin

Thoughts 💭:
My favourite of the 4. Easy to apply and absorbs well into my skin. Not sure if it will prevent dark spots or fine lines but will continue to use & see if it does what it claims. The down side is that it has fragrance (at the bottom of the ingredient list). It did make my skin feel soft. 

Final thoughts:
I wished the company took out the fragrance in their products. The scent can be too overpowering for some people. If I had to repurchase any of them, it would be the cream. I am curious to see if the claims are true.

One of the best serums I have used this year. The yellow / orange colour is the unique colour of idebenone raw materials. It is not an artificial pigment. It absorbed super fast & no feeling of stickiness after for me. No warm or stinging sensation. I felt it helped improve my skin elasticity & skin tone. No fragrance & 2/3 drops was all I needed. Highly recommended & will repurchase again.

Wished the travel kit came in different sizes as well. 

Great kit to give expectant mothers or mothers who have just given birth. Size is small & easy to pack. Be it to the hospital or short holiday with baby. I like how gentle the products are. Any fragrance is from the ingredients itself. Super gentle products. 

Might not be suitable for those who are allergic to snail products or who prefer their products without that “slimy” texture. I did not mind the texture at all. 

I have sensitive, acne-prone, combination skin (drier in Winter) & this did not irritate my skin at all. It is meant to improve skin texture without clogging pores & boosts healing of sun-damaged skin in only 4 weeks. I am always sceptical about claims in a short period of time. However, I like the ingredients inside this product & recommend it to anyone who wants to improve skin texture. 95% Snail Mucin for moisture & 5-Peptides boost anti-aging for firmer skin. Moisturising, strengthens skin barrier, plumps & reduces fine lines, reduce signs of aging are some benefits. 

Can feel tacky if too much product is used

I’ve used this ampoule for 1.5 weeks in both my morning & evening routines. A good brightening ampoule from Skin1004. Like the popular Skin1004 Madagascar Centella Ampoule, this is also in a glass bottle. There are small “bead like” capsules in the product that melt when applied on the skin. You can apply directly on your face but I prefer to melt it in the palm of my hands before applying it… to minimise irritation / redness. I had no skin irritation whatsoever. Besides the brightening effect, I did find the texture of my skin to be smoother & appear dewy. A little goes a long way as too much product made my skin a little tacky but after applying moisturiser, the tackiness disappeared. Would recommend to all skin types.

Did not have any bad experience with the cream.

Love ingredients such as Heartleaf (aka Houttuynia Cordata) especially during Summer when my skin gets easily irritated by the hot Australian sun & my acne flares up easily. I’ve been using these product for the last 2 weeks or so in both my morning & night routine. It has helped calm my skin especially during the heat wave we have been getting on & off these last few weeks. The cream is not heavy in texture & absorbs pretty quickly. Both products didn’t leave my skin feeling sticky or greasy after application & absorption. My skin has been enjoying this line from Benton. Highly recommended.
