Hi, I have a concern about how do you reapply sunscreen when outside while wearing make up. Do I have to wash my make up off and reapply sunscreen and put on make up again or is it enough to use foundations/powders with spf so I don't have to reapply sunscreen?

And what sunscreens do you use over make up, like the spray bottle type.

I've just hit my 30s, and I am having thoughts about starting using retinols.

I am using AHA's and BHA's and I'm afraid that I might over exfoliate if I incorporate retinols on my routine, mightcdamage my skin barrier or something.

Is it okay to skip using retinol as I am using AHAs/BHAs already or will it benefit my skin to use retinol now.

Hello everybody, when do you decide if a product doesn't really work for you?

I recently had my hands on a propolis ampoule, I've used an ampoule with propolis as an ingredient before from a different brand and I'm using a propolis essence from the same line as the ampoule I recently got.

I patch tested and there were no irritations or redness on my neck and arms where I tested. But when I incorporated the propolis ampoule on my night routine, my face got a bit red and warm. So I stopped using it and wondered that maybe it doesn't work well with the other products on my routine. The warmth and redness was gone after less than an hour, but the next morning I saw that my skin got a bit textured and developed some rash, around the mouth, on my U-line and forehead, so basically almost everywhere.

I really wanted it to work so I decided to use it again after 3 days, the rash was still there btw, I just cleansed, used the ampoule and applied moisturizer, again my face got red and the rash became more visible.

So I guess this is a clear sign that the product doesn't suit my skin right? 

P.S. can you recommend a product that can help with the rash or how long will I have this on my face? Thank you ❤️

Make sure not to mix BHA with the ingredients that aren't supposed to be mixed with BHA, don't be like me lol.
And don't over exfoliate even though this is a much gentler type of BHA.

Years ago, I started having visible blackheads on my nose and chin area which didn't happen before. I also started having pimples on my chin so I decided to add chemical exfoliants on my routine hoping it would help with my skin problems.

I've read that this was great for beginners of BHA so I bought one. This is runny and gets absorbed by my skin easily. This has a "plasticky" scent to it which I got used to over time. And for a first time user of a BHA product, it was surprisingly gentle on my skin. By using this 2-3x a week, I noticed that I have lesser breakouts and cleaner pores after a couple of months. I also noticed that my pimples would dry out faster or be less inflamed the morning after.

I'm on my second bottle now and this still works fine, but I think my skin kind of developed a tolerance for this so I'm on the lookout for other BHA exfoliants on the market.

Must try for BHA beginners or people with sensitive skin. This uses betaine salicylate which is gentler than salicylic acid.

This is also a really good morning moisturizer when the air is dry, like when it&#39;s cold season or when you&#39;re in an airconditioned room all day long. But during hot summer nights and humid days, this is not my go to moisturizer as I prefer those with lighter consistency during summer months.

I use this as my last step on my nightime skin care routine and I can definitely say that this helped my skin look more plump and feel moiusturized specially when I wake up in the morning. I also notice that it has that brightening effect on me, but it was not an instant brightening, it took some time but I have nothing against it, I wasn&#39;t expecting it anyway as I was just after the moisturizing properties of the product.
I have dry skin and this really works wonders, I will definitely repurchase this product, COSRX never fails me.

The only con for me was the time I have to wait for it to not look ashy on me so I don't really use it for reapplication when I'm outside or on the go.

It's fragrance free but it has that scent most physical sunscreen have, not that bothersome and doesn't linger though.

It's spreadable but tugs a bit and doesn't get absorbed easily.

This sunscreen doesn't have a whitecast but it has that tone up effect and has a sheen on my skin that sets into a natural finish after some time.
It appears ashy upon application on indoor lighting but not that noticeable outside and on natural light. After setting and waiting a couple of minutes, only the slight tone up effect remains.

I find it easier if I just add little at a time because it's hard to blend and I get clumps of white on my lids and the sides of my nose.
Thankfully this doesn't sting my eyes even if I sweat a lot.

I have a very weird way of describing scents so bear with me, and for me this smells like those freshly opened tub of spicy tamarind candy 😅 But it wasn't sour or tangy don't get me wrong, it wasn't really off-putting for me, that's just how I perceive the scent, btw it lingers.

I have sensitive skin but I still prefer chemical sunscreens over physical sunscreens, and what's better than those two? Hybrid sunscreen, lol.

This sunscreen is so creamy and very easy to spread and blend on the skin, it just glides smoothly and absorbs fast. Even though I have dry skin, I can sometimes skip my moisturizer if I hydrate properly and use the right products. It's summer and very humid where I'm from but the way it feels on the skin, it's wearable.

But like most chemical sunscreens I've used, this stings the sides of my nose a bit and my eyes. It has dewy finish and slight tone up upon application but appears natural looking after couple of minutes. I love that this doesn't feel heavy on the skin and doesn't feel sticky, this was such a delight to use for reapplication too. I prefer this over their mineral sunscreen. But there was an instance where I experienced pilling when I have make up on, which was probably because of how I layered my products though. Overall just like the other products from this line, my dry skin loves it.

Nothing bad to say about this, except I tell this for people who are steering clear off of products with fragrance in them. This product has fragrance in it.

Most sunscreens I&#39;ve used before are sticky on the skin and are thick, and living in a humid country, these types of sunscreens isn&#39;t really ideal to use everyday. I tend to skip sunscreen before because of this matter until I switched to chemical sunscreens like this one. I really loved this product and I have no problem using this everyday, I&#39;ve consumed almost half of it already. This blends and gets absorbed easily on my skin, it has that moisturizing effect on my skin too. This product is sweat resistant and doesn&#39;t leave a whitecast on my face. I can wear this even on hot summer days and won&#39;t feel like I am wearing sunscreen, it&#39;s like I just wore a moisturizer.
Even my make up doesn&#39;t cake on top of this sunscreen and doesn&#39;t make my face look whiter than the rest of my body.
There are also days that I skip on moisturizers, I just wear this sunscreen and I&#39;m good to go.
