If you could only give one bit of advice when it comes to skincare, what would it be?

Mine would be to always do a patch test no matter if you have sensitive skin or not 🙂

Do you all believe essence is important in your skincare routine? Why or why not? What kind of essences do you look for?

Essence: Important or no?

It seems like a lot of people either love this stuff on their face or absolute loathe it. I personally can't touch a bottle without breaking out 😂. What do you think? Do you use it or avoid petroleum skincare like the plague?

Vaseline: Yay or nay?

What is your approach to rotating your skincare products? Do you rarely repurchase the same product and move on to something new to try, or do you find what works and use it for years? What do you think is the best approach?

Changing Out Products Or Sticking With What Works?

One of the ingredients at the top of the list is alcohol. It definitely has an alcohol scent. When my skin was behaving, it didn't seem to bother me. But during the winter when my skin is more sensitive, I could definitely feel a sting. I think this is the ingredient that makes it dry down so quickly, but as much as I wanted to love this sunscreen, alcohol is not something I want in a product that goes on bare skin at that high of concentration. 

I loved the thinner, lotiony texture (excuse my dry red hand in the pic 😣). A lot of sunscreens I've tried are so heavy, especially in the summer. This didn't make my face feel greasy at all. It dried down great, leaving behind no film and no sheen. 

I also had no problems with pilling after I applied makeup. I tried more moisturizing primers, gel primers, and silicone primers without any issues.

And as someone with medium toned skin, I also liked that this didn't leave behind a white or greenish cast.

It&#39;s expensive, and I&#39;m not a fan of the packaging.

This has done my skin wonders. I&#39;m always impressed with how my skin looks the morning after I wear this, and how my skin has improved since using. It calms any swollen and red acne, helped with my scarring, and post acne redness.

My skin did not like this. I had a very ugly reaction to something in it that destroyed my skin barrier. But besides that, it didn&#39;t feel like it hydrated my skin that much. By the next morning it looked and felt the same as it always does.

It&#39;s a gel, which is something my oily skin in summer appreciated.

Those with dry or combo skin will probably need something more occlusive on top of this, as there&#39;s no thicker ingredients in this to seal moisture in.

I think this is ideal for my oily skin, and would be perfect for warmer and humid weather. It&#39;s definitely a gel, but it&#39;s a little richer than the aloe gels you&#39;d get in the drugstore due to the propolis. It doesn&#39;t feel filmy on my skin note greasy as the day goes on. This is perfect for under SPF or makeup because it doesn&#39;t smother the skin. It sinks in quickly and soothes and hydrates, just like it claims to. I also love that there&#39;s no fragrance, so I can wear it without fear of an allergic reaction. Packaging is a squeeze tube, so pretty straightforward there.

It sits pretty greasy on my face, and doesn&#39;t really dry down during the day. It also breaks me out even when I do a double cleanse.

The consistency is fluid-like, and it certainly seems to work because fave doesn&#39;t burn or tan too much when applied. It also provides enough hydration that I don&#39;t need a moisturizer.
