I’m curious — when did you guys join Picky?

I installed the app months back only to get free samples of the Keep Cool SPF, who would’ve thought Picky would become a part of my daily routine?

I wasn’t expecting it to be anything more than a skincare rating app or store, but it already is! 

And for that I just wanna recognize what a great app Picky is. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Aside from the amazing giveaways and events, I couldn’t help but wonder how the creators formed this community full of nice people who are willing to spare a portion of their days to write comprehensive reviews and answer questions of other skincare junkies. How?? 

It just amazes me every single time.

It doesn’t feel as calming and refreshing as my other green tea toner, and it didn’t control my sebum throughout the day. Oh and idk if it’s just me but the toner smells like soy sauce.

I had high expectations for this toner since it’s one of the most hyped products from Instree. Let’s just say I didn’t understand what the hype is all about. Don’t get me wrong, it has great ingredients and is an overall a decent toner! Very light, watery, and hydrating. I didn’t experience any irritation too. There’s just no “wow” factor for it to be hyped so much.

 I’m under the impression all skin types would appreciate this one during the summer season.

When Anua claimed these heartleaf products to be ~soothing~, they meant it. Heck, this is a splash of cold water to irritated skin and I freaking love it. 💦

𝗔𝗡𝗨𝗔 𝟳𝟳% 𝗛𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗧𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗙 𝗦𝗢𝗢𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗧𝗢𝗡𝗘𝗥
— When I say watery, it is exactly that. There’s no scent, viscosity, or hue to it that it feels so much like water. The first splash already relieves redness and irritation but I like doing multiple layers of it until I feel hydrated enough, and my skin seems to just drink it all up every single time. 

The top 1 on my long list of toners is Benton’s Green Tea but Anua just stole the top spot. This is why I enjoy trying a lot of products, I keep discovering great ones!

I literally went “oh wow” when I first tried this because it made my skin look dewy and glowy upon application. Skin texture has improved for me too. 

The ingredients list is screaming “youth!” It contains 88% concentrated bifida fermentation lysate, adenosine, niacinamide, and triple peptides among others for overall anti-aging. 

I’m not expecting to see my fine lines disappear as I’ve only used it for a month, but I enjoy using this at night and would definitely repurchase.

This is the third mugwort mask I’ve tried, and I’m surprised they all work differently. 
It is clay-based, but it doesn’t dry up into a stiff layer like other clay masks. It is interestingly creamy with little crushed leaves that exfoliates the skin gently. 

After each masking session, my sebum stays at bay and my skin feels really refreshed, clean, and declogged. No cons at all! I love this one.

This cream has everything I like in a moisturizer - it is lightweight, unscented, and non-greasy. A great choice for daytime use. 

I find it fascinating that its main ingredient is 75% Lotus Water extract. Lotus flowers are known for its self-purifying abilities even when they grow in muddy water, so I believe this cream would help purify the skin for that cleaner and clearer complexion we all are striving for. ( ˘ ³˘)

Also contains Kaempferol (we love ‘em polyphenols) to help restore skin balance and provide anti-aging properties. Can’t testify on the latter though as I use other anti-aging products.
