So i wanted to make a small guide on how to write a good review because a lot of us arent native English speakers (including me) and struggle it. 
So the term "good review" is always subjective!
But I added a few guide questions that I think is important in a review. 

FIRST RULE:
ACTUALLY TEST IT AND BE HONEST! No one is going to kill you if you dislike a product!

So what I always learned in school is to start with a introduction sentence what I like to do is write if it works for me or not.
Something like "Didn't work for me.."  So the user knows in which direction it goes.

That what my teacher always preach to have so idk

I know this is not everything! A lot of things are missing! It's just a guide that you can go over when writing a review. I also dont answer all questions. (Pls dont come at my current reviews.. I know they lack a looot)

Thank you for all your positive replies on the last post!

Some stuff i want to address ( alot were mentioned in the last discussion)

•Please be honest! If you dont have time for a detailed review just do it another time but just dont copy from someone else. Some spend hours for a review so please just dont.

•Take your time! I wouldnt rush to do a review. If you cant review it for long I would mention it, too!
This isnt a racing competition. A lot of ingredients need time! 

•Long DOENST mean BETTER!
If it is repetitive, most people would loose interest to read it. 
So dont write 3 sentences about something if you can replace it with one word. 
(In my next post I have a small cheat sheet with words that help you describing things eg texture, skin,..) 

•In the last part there were a lot of questions about how to keep it interesting, bc they're afraid that their audience wouldnt read long reviews. 
FOCUS on your EXPERIENCE! 
All the other infos are just extra, you dont need to mention everything that I posted in the last part. Some are just not that necessary but it's a good addition to a review. (eg. packaging, availability,  price) 
On Picky it is nice but i understand that on IG you have a max of symbols.
So I would focus on the experience part: 
> How did the product changed/helped YOUR skin?
>Pro/Con?
>Conclusion (Would you buy it or recommend this?)

•EVERY REVIEW IS UNIQUE. We're all different people. We have other circumstances, skin, different writing & layout styles. So don't be scared to write a review if there are 100s already there. Be confident! Dont care what other says. I would read every review if I can. 
This is YOUR review!

•The things I mentioned in the last part can be seen as a check list. Do you need mention everything? Oh heck no!! But what I liked to do before writing a review is to doing a little map where I just collect every info I get and categorize them and then figure out what's important and what's not. 
•A lot of stuff can be mentioned in one sentence 

•Just experimenting. Learning by doing (& reading) 
>> Try to experiment with headings, emojis, fonts, paragraphs & other stuff 


How I do MY reviews:
This is MY opinion! If you dont agree with it, it's totally fine. 

•I prefer bullet point reviews. To be honest sometimes I'm too lazy to read long ass paragraphs.
In my opinion its also more neat and easier to read. 

•Only my experience part is written full the other parts are rather bullet points. 

•I love paragraphs!
Paragraphs makes your review look more organized and not that long

•It goes hand in hand but I love headings so the reader knows what I'm talking about 
When a product has a lot of reviews not everyone wants to read the basic stuff (scent, texture, price,... ) again and again, so they can jump to my experience part more easily 

•On IG I do my reviews on slides because IG has a max for words. And I love to design those pages even though it's a pain in the a**
•But I'm really proud of it and once you get the hang of it's not that difficult to do it 

So that's it for part 2.

🌿 Damaged skin barrier 
Having a compromised barrier is the root of experiencing dry skin. Without a fully function barrier our skin is extremely vulnerable.

》Add products with ceramides and fatty acids to help restore your barrier 
》Stop using harsh products 



🌿 Only using humectants
Humectants are water attracting and can draw water from our environment into our skin. 
However in low humidity humectants can pull moisture out of our skin which leads to dry skin and dehydration 

》Try to use a more occlusive products which prevent the water from escaping 
Oils, creams, moisturizer are occlusives 



🌿 Only using occlusives
Occlusives form a barrier between our barrier and the air. Their job is to LOCK the moisture in our skin and not to deliver it. 

》 Try to incorporate hydrating products 
(I did a discussion about serums, check it out)



🌿 Layering your products in the wrong order
If you're laying your occlusives (like oils) before hydrating products, your hydrating products may not penetrate as deeply into your skin as usual.

》 Change your order > from thinnest to thickest consistency 



🌿 Changing seasons and weather 
Changing season and changing of the weather can also be drying to our skin

》 Adapt your skincare routine and add more hydrating and thicker products 



Some methods that helps me!
》 7 skin method!
Apply your hydrating toner/serum/ essence  7 times. It gives you a hydrating kick

》 Slugging 
Apply a small layer of petroleum jelly (vaseline) to your face at the end of your PM routine. Vaseline is very occlusive! 

》Using a sleeping mask overnight to prevent water loss during the night

[GUIDE] DRYNESS pt. 2

~ Dried out my skin so bad
My skin always felt tight after using it 
(So I would not recommend that for people with sensitive skin)
~ It also irritated my skin.
~On the package it says you dont have to rinse it afterwards but it leaves a oil cast (?) on my skin which I didnt enjoy but it was only my first cleanse step so I dont mind. 
~ It generates a lot of waste (if you dont use reusable pads). For taking of my make up I use at least 3 pads. 
~ I dont like the scent of this product. (It&#39;s not that terrible.)
~ The product contains Linalool ,Limonene and Fragrance and it CAN cause a allergic reaction. 
So be careful. 

Overall I personally didnt like the product it does its job but I think there are better options out there which doesnt strip your skin.
My friend who recommend this to me doesn&#39;t experiences tightness and dryness so every skin differs.

Not for me!
However as mentioned in other reviews 
~ For people who dont enjoy cleansing oils or balms it can be use as a first cleanse step. And it isnt that messy to use. Just shake the bottle so it is &quot;mixed&quot; and put it on a cotton pad&#47;ball
~ This products removed my water proof make up and sun cream.
~It removes my makeup really easily I didnt have to rub my eyes or so
~It didnt burned in my skin like others micellar water 
~It didnt clogged my pores and I didnt break out 
~The product is affordable (like ~4€)

•But if you use too much it gets sticky. Best is to apply it on damp skin

E X P E R I E N C E
•My first time using an only hyaluronic acid product and I absolutly love this! I always avoided only hyaluronic acid serums because I thought it was overhyped but I'm so wrong! 
•Gives enough hydration throughout the day. Even in winter my skin feels really good. 
•My skin has a nice decent glow and looks healthy.
•It looks really radiating and I love it! 
•Works perfect with their other two product. 
•As often read here I mixed this with the other serums and then apply it. Works perfectly :))

•My first time using an oil and I absolutly love this! 
•Its perfect for my dry skin in winter! No more dry patches and itchy skin.
•It leaves a shiny glow. I think for oily skin it looks a bit greasy
•My skin looks really healthy and plump.
•Works perfect with their other two product. 
•It leaves an oily residue so I used this at the end of my PM routine

•After the two weeks I couldnt see any progress or improvements anymore.
•Sometimes it would just sting so I guess it was either the essential oil in the ampoule or when you apply it to open pimples.
•Strong tee trea scent

[ This is my very first oil cleanser so I cant compared it to others. ]

I used this as my first cleanser every PM.
It removes waterproof make up and sunscreen. It&#39;s gentle and leaves my face baby soft afterwards! I love the texture it feels really good massaging it on my skin and my hands are gliding over there. 

However sometimes it's a bit more difficult to remove it around the eye area& it leaves an oil layer behind, but it goes away if you rinse it thoroughly with warm water or use your second cleanser. 
It didnt irritate my eye or my skin in any way but you feel that the oil hasn;t emulsify that good on your lashes. 


[Edit] After reading the instructions and doing after the instructions:  Rinse it 2 -3 times with lukewarm water it goes away easily!
