Basic Skincare Routine for Bad Breakout
My skin breakout again badly! 😢 So I tried to : 1. Minimise my skincare routine. 2. Avoid an active ingredients. (No vitamin C, chemical/physical exfoliation, vitamin A like retinol/retinal). 3. Use skincare products for a skin barrier, calming and soothing, hydrating and moisturising. 3. Avoid sugary drinks, milk chocolate, junk foods. 4. Consistently drink a lemon drink for about a week. 5. Drink less milk coffee and drink more green tea. 6. Wash pillow cases and sheets every week.

Centella Unscented Serum
Always come back to this product whenever I have lot of acnes! It consists of centella asiatica for soothing, ceramide for skin barrier and hyalyronic acid forhydrating.

5 months into adapalene, my acne-prone skin has become manageable with a few occasional bumps here and there (yay!) but post-acne skin leaves new issues: scars. Currently, I have brown/dark spots or PIH and red spots or PIE. I also experience dryness in some areas and my cheek area has become more sensitive. I was excited to try this because of its well-acclaimed ingredients that target hyperpigmentation and irritated skin. Usage: AM before sunscreen and PM before adapalene. Pros: - It comes with a pump packaging for easy dispensing - Unscented! Reducing the risks of irritation from essential oils and fragrance - Medium to thick consistency but not runny - Gives an instant glow to the skin - No sticky feeling Usage: I used the serum both in the AM and PM and the cream in the PM only. Verdict: I noticed less bumps on my face the whole time I’ve used this and my skin has become less oily. The redness has lessened and some scars definitely faded. After 2 weeks of using both this and the centella recovery cream, I’m thinking of keeping only the serum. Overall, I loved how Purito formulated such products with a whole bunch of powerful ingredients. The serum, especially, is a multi-use product that targets 2 or more issues at the same time — best for incorporating an effective solution while keeping your routine simple!

A-Cica 365 Calming Cream
Current fav! It feels so good on my oily skin. There's less greasy and this cream can mattify shiny skin too (because it contains a silicone).

Surprisingly, this is my favourite among this line! I'm very picky in choosing moisturizer as I have oily skin so I need to find a moisturizer that doesn't make my skin greasy and sticky. This cream has a thick texture, a little goes a very long way. When I apply the cream, it forms pill on my skin, but after settle down, it leaves a beautiful finish that's not sticky at all and fast absorb. 🛒𝙰𝚟𝚊𝚒𝚕𝚊𝚋𝚕𝚎 𝚊𝚝 Yesstyle, use my code <CHEERSSKIN23> to get discount. https://www.yesstyle.com/en/aestura-a-cica-365-calming-cream-60ml/info.html/pid.1114910061?rco=CHEERSSKIN23&utm_term=CHEERSSKIN23&utm_medium=LinkShare&mcg=influencer

Vegan Zinc Suncream SPF50+ PA++++
Definitely my top 3 fav sunscreen! These days I prefer to use a physical sunscreen and this one has less whitecast.

I've been seeing this Vegan Zinc Suncream SPF 50+ PA++++ on my feed for a while, and I finally was able to try it! There is a fruity, floral scent that I don't love, but don't mind. I think they're trying to cover up that zinc, titanium dioxide sunscreen scent. While hard to see from the video, there is also a light peach pink tint to the formula, which I think is trying to minimize the white cast. I do love the cute packaging.
