I do love their light-weight yet very hydrating gel texture. No detectable scent, great texture and just sits in really well into my daily routine. First, the product doesn’t sensitize my skin in any way which is a good sign since my skin is quite picky with Vitamin C products. I know that it depends on the concentration and formulation but based on my own personal experience, my skin reacts better to the derivatives For any of you who have no luck on trying L-ascorbic acid product, I do think trying out their other derivatives would be your safest bet. Up to date, L-ascorbic acid would still be the golden standard, but it also comes with some downfall and the derivatives may help to cover it up in the cost of their effectiveness It helps brighten overall skin tone and help fades any hyperpigmentation from post-inflammatory-acne hyperpigmentation after consistent use for 2 weeks. My major skin concern has always been hyperpigmentation around my oral area. After using them for about a month, I can notice slight differences and even tone between before and after I incorporate this into my routine

Doesn't tingle at all! Spreads easily, doesn't leave a layer of film even if it contains oils. Makes my skin feel soft upon application. A cult fave and I must agree 💯 This serum has an almost gel-like texture. It comes off nice and cooling on the skin. I absolutely love the way it feels on my skin. Super hydrating and NOT tacky at all! I apply this in my AM routine and it leaves my skin looking so dewy and glowy. Works well as skin prep before putting on foundation/makeup. Poncirus Trifoliata C Dark Spot Serum contains vitamin C derivative and 66% poncirus trifoliate (hardy orange) extract. It is designed to rapidly brighten skin while reducing the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and dark spots. I've been using it in the morning, since vitamin C helps boost the efficacy of sunscreen. This product comes in a beautiful orange pump bottle, which helps keep air from entering and degrading the ingredients. The orange color, however, fades to a transparent yellow toward the bottom of the bottom, which kind of weirded me out. I know that encapsulated vitamin C, which is what is used in this serum, is resistant to light degradation, but I still would have liked a completely opaque bottle, at least dark orange all the way through instead of ombre. The product has no odor and has a lovely texture that is neither too thick nor too thin. I've seen a few reviews claiming that the vitamin C capsules are noticeable as they burst on the skin upon application, but I didn't notice this myself; it went on like a regular serum for me. I absolutely love this product. I was stunned by how quickly it worked. In a little over a week, I noticed my post-acne hyperpigmentation (which just continues to get worse as I get older, sigh...) noticeably begin to fade. I wish I had taken before and after pictures! But the serum worked its magic even on older, really baked-in PIH. It wasn't irritating at all for me to use despite its strength, but I'll add the caveat that I've been using The Ordinary's L-Ascorbic Acid until testing Make P:rem's product, so my skin might just be used to strong vitamin C concentrations. Combinado con extracto de uva, de limón, de naranja, aceite de aguacate, de pistacho entre otros... De textura ligera, pero que deja la piel hidratada y con glow.
