🌸 the main ingredients in this essence is snail mucin (96 %, hence the name). The star ingredient is supposed to work by reducing hyperpigmentation, reducing the appearance of acne scars, hydrating the skin and giving you that ✨ glow ✨. Despite its cult following, it simply didn’t deliver on its claims in my experience. I did give me a little hydration and a sticky kind of glow, but I didn’t see any long term effects even after consistent use for several months unfortunately 🌸 the product comes in a glass bottle with a pump. It is easy to use, sturdy and I had no problems with the pump at all. I love the packaging, especially since the pump is so much more efficient than having to pour it from the bottle yourself. Of course in addition to being much more hygienic. The bottle is also huge if you get the full size, so the product will last you a long time. Very good value for money in that sense 🌸 this essence was my first snail product a few years ago, and the texture was just what I expected: a sticky gooey mess lol. Thank god for the pump, or else it would be a very annoying application. It has much of the same consistency as the snail 92 cream from COSRX, but clear, more sticky and thinner. Unfortunately, the texture results in the product being very sticky on the skin, and taking a loong time to sink in. It also leaves a sticky residue when it has dried down, which feels like a film is left on the skin. 🌸 cruelty free! This is why COSRX is one of my fav brands! 🌸 no parabenes, no fragrance, no sulfates

The probio-cica line from @skin1004official 🫶🏼 I received this from picky in exchange for my honest review! I looove this line!! Skin1004 is already one of my fav brands, and this line is probably the best I’ve tried from them for my skin type! The products are so very calming and I see a noticeable brightness and evenness in my skin tone after only one weeks use. My skin feels deeply hydrated, moisturized and taken care of. It should be noted the cream is quite thick and a little bit sticky (although the stickyness quickly subsides as the product absorbs), so it is probably best suited for combination and dry skin types rather than oily. The design gives such a spa feeling too! All in all, I really recommend giving this line a try if you have the chance. An extra plus: all skin1004 products are vegan and cruelty free! Yay!

🌸HG toner of all time!!! I love love love this! 🌸 Super hydrating 🌸 very calming on the skin. Literally saved my skin during my final semester of med school when my stress was through the roof and my skin suffered! Instatly soothing. 🌸 very good for calming down redness, I could see immediate results after application 🌸 the spray bottle makes it very easy to apply! I usually use this between every step of my routine to help my other products penetrate better. Gives that “glow from within” look all we dewy-lovers are looking for! 🌸 cannot recommend enough if you are looking for that dewy glow!

🌸 first of all: WOW! I am so impressed and surprised with this product! I really like the cica line from skin1004, but this is even better than the others - new HG for sure! 🌸 is product is truly power-packed, it contains hyaluronic acid for hydration, cica for calming, ceramides for barrier strengthening, niaciamide for oil regulation and even skin tone, adenosine for anti-aging, and the list goes on. It promises to hydrate, soothe, improve elasticity and even out skin tone. In my opinion it delivers on most of its promises! After using this for only one night, I woke up the next morning with such even, calm and glowing skin I couldn’t really believe it. My skin was so supple and glass-like. I experienced no irritation either, except that it makes my eyes water a bit if it comes into contact with them. 🌸 I got this as a freebie when I won the centella ampule from the Picky giveaway, so I didn’t have a chance to experience the original packaging as I only received a sample. From the marketing pictures, it looks like the original comes in a tube with a cap, that you have to squeeze to portion out the product. This is my preferred packaging for creams, as it’s much more hygienic compared to scooping it out with your fingers and introducing bacteria into the remaining product. The packaging is also so so pretty, both the sample I got, the original packaging and the skin1004 packaging in general. Always look very professional, clean and intriguing. 🌸 the texture is a very light gel consistency, that turn almost water-like when you start to massage it into the skin with your fingers. Is super super light weight, so I could imagine this would fit almost any skin type. Although for my dry skin, I felt it was a little _too_ lightweight, so I topped it up with my normal night moisturizer for a more occlusive finish, which worked perfectly. In that way, it is very easy to adjust to your skin type and needs. 🌸 contains no artificial fragrance, and no harmful ingredients according to Picky 🌸 from what I can read online, it seems to me that all skin1004 products are cruelty free - love to see it! 🌸 a little goes a long way, so great value for your money
