MadeCera Express Mask
Super hydrating mask that’s great for dehydrated or irritated skin.
LilacLuna
The MadeCera Express Mask from SkinRx Lab claims to intensely moisturize while soothing sensitive skin. I received this product from Picky and SkinRx Lab in exchange for review. Ingredients: TECA - purified Centella Asiatica, helps repair skin damage Ceramides - hydrating, skin barrier health Thoughts: ❤️ One of my favorite skincare rituals is to do a facial peel and immediately follow it up with a restorative mask like this one. My face is usually very sensitive and a bit irritated following a peel, but this mask worked really well to soothe and hydrate my skin. It took down some of the redness I was experiencing and gave me a wonderful glow while replenishing my moisture barrier. There was also a ton of excess essence in the package - enough to moisturize my whole body - which is always a bonus. The sheet itself felt nice quality, though it was a bit small width-wise for my face (typical for Korean sheet masks) and was thin enough to stay in place for the 30 minutes I wore it. Definitely a great choice for dry skin or if your face needs a little TLC.

MadeCera Cream Double Essence Toner
Creamy, hydrating lotion/toner hybrid
LilacLuna
The MadeCera Cream Double Essence Toner from SkinRx Lab claims to be hydrating, healing, anti-aging, anti-acne, and anti-inflammatory. I received this product from Picky and SkinRx Lab in exchange for review. Ingredients: Panthenol - hydrating Masecassoside - soothing, hydrating Ceramides - hydrating, skin barrier health Milk protein - hydrating Thoughts: ❤️ I adore the texture of this toner. It’s lightweight, creamy and super hydrating. It has two layers - a thin, creamy lotion and a watery essence that you shake to mix before use. This gives a toner that’s meant to be a two-in-one. The layers mix readily and the product dispenses easily, although I did notice the cap leaking when the bottle was stored on its side. The ingredients in here are great: ceramides, panthenol, and madecassoside are all excellent for skin barrier health. I’ve been using it as the first step in my nighttime routine and it’s worked wonderfully add moisture back to my skin after cleansing. It’s too heavy for me to use during the day or in warmer weather but this time of year it’s exactly what my combo skin needs.

Dermalogy Cica Repair Snail Essence
Another great essence with snail mucin. Thinner texture than COSRX but still very hydrating.
LilacLuna
The Cica Repair Snail Essence from Neogen claims to aid in skin regeneration and promote elasticity while soothing sensitive skin. *I received this product free from Picky and Neogen in exchange for review. Key Ingredients: 🐌 96% snail mucin: hydrates, repairs skin, promotes collagen production 🍃 Centella Asiatica: hydrates, soothes skin, reduces inflammation 💧Hyaluronic acid: hydrates 🌿 Plant collagen: improves skin texture 💬 Thoughts: ❤️ Firstly, the texture of this essence is a bit thinner than I was expecting. It definitely still has the characteristics of snail mucin, but it’s less slimy than other, similar products I’ve tried. It also absorbed into my skin very quickly and didn’t leave any stickiness. It has a mild fruity scent that I can’t identify, but seems to be from a number of fruit extracts in the essence - so not synthetic! It was very hydrating but never too heavy even in the heat and humidity (one of my favorite things about snail mucin) plus it calmed a breakout I had during my testing. When I used it regularly I also noticed my skin seemed softer and had less texture. The pretty packaging is a nice bonus, too!

Re: Wake Moist Treatment
Plodica - Great hydrating toner with a thicker texture.
LilacLuna
RE:Wake Moist Treatment from Plodica This toner claims to deeply hydrate and rejuvenate skin with a blend of natural, vegan ingredients. I received this product free from Picky and Plodica in exchange for review Key Ingredients: Sacred Lotus - soothing and moisturizing Niacinamide - brightens, balances sebum production Adenosine - soothing Phytic Acid - brightening, antioxidant Thoughts; 👍 This toner has a slightly viscous, watery texture that feels wonderful on the skin. It sinks in fast and gave me a lasting moisturized glow. There is no scent to this product either. I really liked using this as part of my nighttime routine but it was a bit heavy for during the day. I prefer a lighter, more refreshing toner in the warmer weather for my morning routine, though I’m sure I’ll get plenty of use out of this one as the weather cools down. At night, though, this toner was great for adding hydration back into my skin after my cleansing routine and prepping my face for the rest of my products. It made my skin feel velvety smooth and was very soothing to use after exfoliating. The packaging is also quite nice - it’s a luxe glass bottle that has some weight to it! The stopper doesn’t let you dispense a lot of product at once which can be a bit frustrating, but it prevents me from using too much and being wasteful!

Madagascar Centella Probio-Cica Intensive Ampoule
Creamy, hydrating ampoule I love using when my skin needs a boost of moisture.
LilacLuna
I received this product free from Picky and Skin1004 in exchange for my thoughts. What it is: A soothing, hydrating ampoule made to replenish and rejuvenate the skin. Key Ingredients: ceramides, fatty acids, fermented Centella Asiatica Thoughts: The texture of this ampoule is very creamy - almost like an emulsion or lotion. It felt wonderful on dehydrated, irritated skin and definitely helped maintain my skin barrier. It absorbs in very quickly and leaves my skin feeling moisturized but not sticky. The dropper makes it very easy dispense product too. It calmed some inflammation and redness I had been experiencing from a breakout as well as a small reaction to retinol on my chest. I think this ampoule is best suited for combination to dry skin and for me works best when used only at night since it’s a heavier product.

Madagascar Centella Probio-Cica Enrich Cream
Deeply hydrating. Feels thick going on but is surprisingly lightweight.
LilacLuna
I received this product free from Picky and Skin1004 in exchange for my thoughts. What it is: A rich, deeply moisturizing cream that works to repair the skin barrier and soothe irritation. Key Ingredients: ceramides, macadamia seed oil, fermented Centella Asiatica Thoughts: This cream has an interesting texture! It kind of reminds of snail mucin products in how “bouncy” it feels. It’s not super lightweight, but certainly not heavy either. I prefer to use it as a night cream this time of year with my combination skin since it’s very hydrating. The texture is supposed to help the cream adhere to the skin without causing irritation from rubbing and I can see where it might help with that. In my experience, though, I had to work the cream into my skin more in order for it to sink in and it stayed a bit sticky for a little while afterwards. It’s very hydrating and worked well to soothe skin irritated by breakouts and acne-fighting products. It did a great job of protecting my skin barrier even through some rough times and also worked nicely on a spot of eczema on my chest. I think this cream is best suited to dry-combination skin types and would be excellent for sensitive skin.

Madagascar Centella Soothing Cream
A cream I enjoy layering under a more occlusive moisturizer for extra hydration
LilacLuna
The Centella Soothing Cream form SKIN1004 claims to be a hydrating cream with lipid components to help repair the skin’s barrier. I received this product free from Picky and SKIN1004 in exchange for review. Key Ingredients: Centella Asiatica Extract - soothes and hydrates Ceramides - helps repair skin barrier Fatty Acids & Cholesterol - found on skin’s surface, helps repair barrier ❤️ The Centella soothing cream has a lightweight, gel-cream texture and no scent which is always nice to see in a product meant for sensitized skin. It felt very hydrating immediately going on, however I needed to layer something more occlusive on top in order for that moisture to last. I found that applying it as a second-to-last step before my moisturizer worked best especially if I used it at night. My skin also absorbs this stuff very quickly. It doesn’t feel heavy or sticky and it wore well under my makeup without making my skin look greasy. I think that for anyone with dry skin this product is best used for a moisture boost alongside your normal products, but maybe oily skin types would enjoy it on its own. I can see the soothing cream making an excellent Summer moisturizer fro me since it’s light but packed full of replenishing ingredients.

Fat Water Hydrating Milky Toner Essence
Creamy and hydrating toner. Smells like milk tea 🧋
LilacLuna
I was very pleasantly surprised with the Fat Water Milky Toner from Fenty Skin having no prior experience with the brand. It is a thicker toner - milky is definitely a good way to describe it - and feels very hydrating on the skin. It made my skin feel super soft and nourished immideately after applying and layered nicely with all of my other products. It has a noticable scent of sweet, milky tea (reminds me of boba tea!) that I liked even though I prefer my skincare to be free from fragrance. I only used this toner at night since it's a bit heavy for my combination skin during the day, but dry skin types could probably use it for daytime too. My favorite way to incorporate this essence into my routine was to use it with retinol which turns my skin into a desert if I'm not careful. Not once when I used the Fat Water did I wake up to dry or tight-feeling skin - instead I was plump and glowing! **I received this product free in exchange for my honest review.

Dermide Relief Barrier Moisturizer
Another great night cream packed with ceramides. Thick and hydrating.
LilacLuna
The Dermide Relief Barrier Moisturizer from Purito claims to reduce redness, while supporting the skin’s barrier through multiple soothing and calming ingredients I received this product from Picky and Purito in exchange for review. Key Ingredients: - Ceramides: protects skin barrier - Allantoin: calming and healing - Squalene and Panthenol: moisturizing - Does not contain fragrance, essential oils, or silicone 💬 My Thoughts: 👍 The Dermide Relief Barrier Cream is deceptively lightweight for how moisturizing it is! It felt so light on my skin that the first time I used it I went overboard and woke up a bit greasy 😅 When used in moderation, though, it provides wonderful hydration and soothes the skin of any irritation. While testing this, I accidentally doubled up on exfoliating products and expected my skin to be angry with me the next day, but I slathered on this cream and crossed my fingers… and I woke up with perfectly happy skin the next day! It has no scent and sinks in quickly without leaving my face sticky. I love that is comes in a pump bottle for hygiene, and the amount of product you get is very generous! I don’t think I’ve ever seen a 100ml moisturizer before, let alone for $23 USD. I think this is a great option for sensitive, dehydrated skin - especially if you need something that isn’t super heavy.
