Honestly, I don’t smell the mandarine fruit specifically, it is more on the herbal side, like orange blossom with laurus. Despite this, the scent is light, very fresh, gentle, unobtrusive and pleasant. Melts easily from the heat of the hands without lumps (maybe even better than the classic version). Applying this balm to the face is a very pleasant procedure. Emulsified great, doesn’t irritate the eyes, doesn’t leave a film on the skin after rinsing off. I still use cleansing gel or foam as a second step, I think it is still needed especially for oily skin to avoid comedones. Perfectly removes makeup and sunscreen. My skin is oily and I prefer to use this moisturizer for replenishing skin after acidic products or retinoids.
