It is a fast acting, 2-step daily treatment formulated to lift away dead skin while improving tone and texture. Step 1 cloth (Exfoliate and Smooth) contains 7 AHAs and BHAs combined. Step 2 (Anti-aging Neutralizer) contains retinol, green tea extract, resveratrol, CO-Q10, etc. First thing I noticed is the scent (Step 1)--it is STRONG (as expected because of the number of chemical exfoliants present). But the scent stays with the cloth, not on the skin. Step 2 cloth has no scent. To use, you first apply Step 1, wait for 2 mins then apply Step 2. No need to rinse afterward, just follow up with the rest of your routine. This is a game changer. I've barely dented the box (have used 8 pads to-date)  and I can already see huge improvement re: post acne scars, texture, tone. etc. Skin feels like a baby's bum every after use. This, however, is expensive--1 box retails at $88. But if you're looking for an at-home peel that works, this is definitely worth the try.

Kate Somerville ExfoliKate is one of my Holy Grail products. Most exfoliators contain only physical exfoliants, which are those grainy bits that feel like a harsh scrub. Physical exfoliants often cause damage to the skin barrier which allows bacteria to get underneath the barrier, which can cause redness, inflammation, acne and other problems. ExfoliKate uses 3 different types of exfoliant: physical, chemical, and enzymatic. The physical exfoliant used is silica, which is very small and gentle. The chemical and enzymatic exfoliants, which include lactic acid, salicylic acid, pumpkin ferment extract, and papaya fruit among others, gently exfoliate without causing damage. They're effective because they dissolve the bonds between dead skin cells and gently slough them off. I also love that ExfoliKate only needs to be left on for 2 minutes, but makes it look like I've just had a 30 minute facial! After using it my skin is soft, smooth, and radiant. Sometimes when I'm using ExfoliKate I like to run the hot water in my sink as hot, drape a towel over my head, and lean over the sink to use the steam to get even better results.

With 11% AHA this power toner will perk your skin right up and remove all those dead skin cells. I use this every other night after working my way up. You can smell the Kombucha which makes this a delightful treat for your senses too. Filled with fermented tea extract, Lactic acid and glycolic acid. This power toner is also alcohol-free fragrance-free and essentialoil-free.

I like an invigorating product, this is very that. I literally had baby skin after this treatment. I used it when I had an interview at a bank and the entire interview I was distracted by my skin that was literally glowing from the lighting. I didn’t get the job but atleast I interviewed with bomb a** skin!

I find that the application is very easy with the dropper provided and there is no stinging when the serum is applied to the skin. I have had this bottle for approx 4 months and it has not oxidised. I keep it in my beauty fridge and apply it only in the mornings, immediately after cleansing and before my toners and serums. It pairs well with the Skinceuticals SPF.
