This clean shot serum is truly lovely and inexpensive. Another reason I love Pacifica is for their affordable products. This is a niacinamide serum with zinc and hemp seed oil. A lovely combination for those with Oily, congested and out-of-balance skin. Niacinamide is one powerhouse ingredient! Niacinamide boosts collagen production to improve skin texture, including smoothness, fine lines and wrinkles and helps brighten and fade hyperpigmentation. Niacinamide can improve skin hydration by preventing evaporation of moisture from the skin into the environment. It’s also a natural anti-inflammatory ingredient, so it’s great for calming irritated skin but also good for people with sensitive skin. Lastly Niacinamide is great for balancing oil production! Hemp seed oil decreases inflammation and irritation and provides relief for discomfort related to certain skin conditions. It is often recommended by dermatologists as an alternative solution for acne, psoriasis, eczema, and atopic dermatitis as it promotes the growth of new healthy skin cells. Hemp Seed oil does not feel sticky when compared to 'wet' oils. It is quickly absorbed into the skin. Dry oils contain fatty acids such as linoleic acid, which is essential to balancing the sebum of the acid mantle. Zinc is a mineral that has anti-inflammatory and skin-healing properties. This does had naturre blend of essential oil as fragrance added to it. The lemon grass smells strong as first but I soon got used to it and looked forward to smelling it when I opened the bottle. The scent also doesn't last on the skin like you'd think. I only smell it when I open the bottle. If you are sensitive to fragrance or your skin gets irritated by essential oils sadly I wouldn't recommend this to you. My over all thoughts of this serum is that it's really queit beautiful. The consistency is nice and it absorbs quickly into the skin. I think it's a unique blend and I love that they added zinc and hemp seed oil. I think this one be great for those with inflammation or acne prone skin types. Although you don't have to have inflammation to use this niacinamide serum as it has so many amazing benefits its meant for everyone.
