🌟🌟 𝕓𝕖𝕡𝕝𝕒𝕚𝕟 || ℂ𝕚𝕔𝕒𝕥𝕖𝕣𝕠𝕝 𝔸𝕞𝕡𝕠𝕦𝕝𝕖 🌟🌟 In honour of April being the month for 𝐄𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, I’ll be reviewing a clean beauty product that I recently bought and incorporated in my routine, and am quite enjoying it 💞 🌟 𝐁𝐞𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐧 is a Korean beauty brand with a 𝐜𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐛𝐞𝐚𝐮𝐭𝐲 mindset, offering eco-friendly and cruelty-free skincare, with biodegradable packaging made with sugarcane bagasse. Ingredients are sustainably sourced and do not contain harmful substances 🌟 𝐁𝐞𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐂𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐥 𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐞 is heavily concentrated in centella asiatica extract and phytosterol, for soothing and skin barrier support. LHA provides gentle exfoliation and regulates sebum production 🍵 𝓜𝔂 𝓮𝔁𝓹𝓮𝓻𝓲𝓮𝓷𝓬𝓮 (for reference, I have combination-oily skin prone to acne) I mainly got this ampoule to soothe skin irritation due to retinoid use and also acne breakouts, and I can tell it’s definitely helping! It contains one of my fav ingredients for calming, cica extract, and I love that it’s not only 𝐬𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 but also very 𝐡𝐲𝐝𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠, so I can skip hydrating serums/ampoules when using this. As for the LHA exfoliation, I haven’t noticed anything yet. There is no scent and the texture is of medium viscosity, and absorbs quickly. It doesn’t pill and is not sticky at all, adapting great to the retinoid-sandwich method

🌟🌟 ℙ.ℂ𝔸𝕃𝕄 || ℂ𝕒𝕥𝕠 ℂ𝕣𝕖𝕒𝕞 🌟🌟 The second skin barrier product review of this weekend is of 𝐏.𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐦 @p.calm_official 𝐂𝐚𝐭𝐨 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦, such a classic and with well-deserved hype! 💞 🌟 Contains the 𝐂𝐚𝐭𝐨-𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐱 with ceramides, cholesterol and fatty acids in the 𝐨𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐮𝐦 𝟑:𝟏:𝟏 𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨 for long-lasting moisture, brightening and soothing 🌟 Free of artificial colorants and fragrances 🍵 𝓜𝔂 𝓮𝔁𝓹𝓮𝓻𝓲𝓮𝓷𝓬𝓮 (for reference, I have combination-oily skin prone to acne) As I said in my previous review, I always look for good skin barrier creams that help me alleviate the dehydration/irritation that comes with retinoid treatments. After testing this Cato cream for several weeks, I can say it is indeed 𝐬𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐝𝐞𝐞𝐩𝐥𝐲 𝐡𝐲𝐝𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠, yet its texture is almost that of a gel cream, super light! It has no scent and absorbs very quickly, leaving my skin 𝐩𝐥𝐮𝐦𝐩 and refreshed. I can use it both in my AM and PM routines without issues, I think it’s the lightest barrier cream I’ve tried, which I totally love due to my skin type ✨ I recommend this cream for all skin types, from oily to dry, as the finish is fantastic and the moisture long-lasting!

🌟🌟 𝔸𝔼𝕊𝕋𝕌ℝ𝔸 || 𝔸𝕥𝕠 𝔹𝕒𝕣𝕣𝕚𝕖𝕣 𝟛𝟞𝟝 ℂ𝕣𝕖𝕒𝕞 🌟🌟 After a brief hiatus, this weekend I come back with two interesting recommendations for 𝐬𝐤𝐢𝐧 𝐛𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐫 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 skincare products. The first one is 𝐀𝐄𝐒𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐀’𝐬 @aestura.official 𝐀𝐭𝐨 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐫 𝟑𝟔𝟓 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦 💞 🌟 Combines 𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐬, 𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐥 and 𝐟𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐲 𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐱, as well as allantoin, squalane, and glycerin for long-lasting hydration and skin barrier health. 🌟 Hypoallergenic formula 🍵 𝓜𝔂 𝓮𝔁𝓹𝓮𝓻𝓲𝓮𝓷𝓬𝓮 (for reference, I have combination-oily skin prone to acne) I’m always on the hunt for skin barrier creams, as I sometimes get dehydrated and compromised skin due to retinoid use. I’ve been testing this cream mainly in my PM routine as the last step, and sometimes in the AM if the compromised areas were too irritated. The texture is quite thick and you can feel the capsules at first, but it absorbs pretty quickly. There is no noticeable smell and it 𝐡𝐲𝐝𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 well, 𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 down the irritated areas. I find it pretty similar to the Illiyoon Ato Ceramide Cream but more 𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭. It’s a fantastic product to pair with retinoids imo! ✨ Best for: normal-dry skin and oily skin prone to dehydration or with a compromised skin barrier.

I've had my my fair share of snail products in the past, from moisturizers to essences, but they've never really stood out to me as much despite the hype that this ingredient received, not until I found this essence. Tia'm as a relatively new brand to me but this essence really wow-ed me as I'm using it. But first, let's take a look at this product's characteristics. Product Type: Essence🧴 Beneficial Ingredients🧪: ➡️ 87% Snail Secretion Filtrate ➡️ Azulene Extract ➡️ Butylene Glycol ➡️ Glycerin ➡️ Allantoin ➡️ Beta - Glucan Packaging📦 Comes in a 180ml cylindrical bottle and is purple in color (which I love so much). The color scheme is very pretty and minimal. The packaging is also straightforward, with the skin concerns and skin types this product is targeted to, written in the label, which is quite useful🧴. Texture🤲 This essence has a unique texture compared to other snail essences that I have tried. It's very viscous as expected from a snail product, yet sinks in quickly once applied in the skin which is quite new to me since typically, snail essences takes a long time to be absorbed.😌 It's lightweight texture makes it also suitable for daytime use🌄. Scent🌼💐 This essence has a slight sweet scent, kind of like a bubblegum candy smell and it's really pleasant. How to Use🧖 Pour the product into your hands, like a toner, and apply it liberally all over the face and neck. You can also layer it for extra hydration☺️. Rating: 5⭐/5⭐ Would Repurchase? YES ABSOLUTELY✨ THE POSITIVES✔️🌼 ➡️ IT HELPS CALM THE SKIN I've used this essence when my skin was undergoing irritation from allergies from the previous products that I have used, alongside stress. At first, I didn't really notice much of a difference, except that it really helped moisturize my face. But after a week or two, my breakouts started to look a bit less red and the itching has gone down considerably. Azulene and Snail mucin are the star ingredients for this product that are known for calming and healing properties, and I can say that this essence embodied it perfectly. ➡️ IT'S REALLY HYDRATING WITHOUT FEELING THICK OR STUFFY Now, one of my pet peeves for snail essences is that they're really thick on the skin and takes a long time to absorb, which is quite difficult if you're always on the go. But this essence is is watery and absorbs easily into the skin and I can use it even in warmer weather. It really makes my skin plumper and healthier whenever I'm using it too😊. ➡️ IT CAN BE LAYERED EASILY The lightweight texture of this product makes it easy to layer other products from your next skincare steps. It also doesn't pill which is a plus😁 ➡️ IT'S AFFORDABLE For the quality and amount that it gives, I can't believe that it's not that expensive. This 180ml product only costs about 9-10 dollars🤩. Buying it is really a bang for the buck💸.

🌟🌟 Review Dear, Klairs's Midnight Blue Calming Cream 🌟🌟 I received this product for free from @go.picky @pickyrewards and @klairs.global in exchange for my honest review 💮 Ingredients and functions 👉 Guaiazulene, star skin-calming ingredient. It comes from chamomile oil and gives the blue colour to the cream 👉 Centella, hydrating and soothing 👉 In lower amounts we find several growth factors: Acetyl Hexapeptide-8, SH-Oligopeptide-1, SH-Oligopeptide-2, SH-Polypeptide-1, SH-Polypeptide-9, SH-Polypeptide-11 Ideal for treating: irritation, post-shaving, sunburns… Can be used as spot treatment or for the whole face. 💮 My experience (for reference, I have combination-oily skin prone to acne) I've been using this cream at the last step of my PM routine for two weeks, after serums/essences and only on non-retinoid nights. I tried it both as a spot treatment and for the whole face, and can definitely attest to its effectiveness regarding skin hydration and soothing. I had several irritated reddish areas around my mouth due to the retinoid action and the cold climate, and the cream efficiently kept the redness at bay, leaving these areas considerably calmer. The blue colour is gorgeous, and the texture seems a bit thick at first but spreads nicely, absorbing pretty quickly. A small amount is enough. It doesn't cause any pilling problems with other cosmetic products, and hasn't caused me any irritation or acne. The finish is quite glowy, but I don’t mind as I use it mainly for PM. 💮 Packaging I received the cream in glass jar packaging, but it’s also available in a tube. The jar is not the most hygienic option and due to the glass it is fragile, but it looks very elegant. It comes with a spatula but I prefer to use clean fingers. 💌 My rating: 5/5, HG!! I really like its moisturizing and soothing properties, very effective! I have already purchased the tube version during the Black Friday sales
