The Skin1004 Madagascar Centella Tea-Trica Soothing Sun Milk is a lightweight, milky chemical sunscreen, containing Centella, Tea Tree, Cica (fun fact: together, Tea Tree and Cica becomes Tea-Trica! 😉😊), Niacinamide, Fig Fruit Extract, Primrose Flower Extract. Cypres Extract and Pine Extract. It promises to calm and soothe the skin while providing both UVA and UVB protection and caters mainly to acne prone and normal to sensitive skin, as it's tested on sensitive skin and proves to be non comedogenic. It's also cruelty free and reef save. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭: I didn't notice any scent. I personally don't mind scented products, my sensitive skin usually stills feels and looks good after using scented products, but having a non scented product is obviously better, especially when you have sensitive skin, to make sure your skin doesn't get irritated by the fragrances. 𝐓𝐞𝐱𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐥: This Sun Milk has a very lightweight and soft texture, it's almost watery but it still is easy to apply. It's a bit runny, but still doesn't run all over your face while applying, so it's not too runny. It still has a little bit of consistence. Just a tad thicker than Milk or water. The Sun Milk melts into the skin easily and absorbs rather quickly but it feels slightly greasy while and after applying, although the greasy feeling doesn't hold on for a very long time. It doesn't dissapear completely, but it feels way less greasy when your skin has absorbed the Sun Milk. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠: Like all Skin1004 products, the packaging looks sleek and modern, featuring a green pine forest on the matte white carton box, along with a list of ingredients and instructions on how to use the Sun Milk. I really love the look of all Skin1004 products, they always look nice and sleek and really emphasize the sustainability they're standing for. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭: My skin feels soft, firm and supple, hydrated, moisturized and smooth after applying the Sun Milk and my skin looks healthy, radiant, fresh and slightly dewy, but in a good, natural way. A natural, healthy looking glow. It doesn't leave any whitecast, which is a huge pro! I was hoping any redness would be less visible too, but it didn't really even out my skin that much, which is too bad because that's exactly what the Tea Trea it contains should do. I didn't have any sunburns so it definitely does what it has to do in that departement! 😉 𝐌𝐲 𝐨𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐧: It definitely is a good product, like almost all Skin1004 products, but if I have to choose, I prefer the Skin1004 Madagascar Centella Hyalu Cica Water-Fit Sun Serum because that one feels less greasy and just feels a tad better in my opinion. I also feel like it's a shame it doesn't really take care of any redness. I still would recommend it though, it solely depends on what you like, really. From the moment I received the email informing me that I've won the Skin1004 Poremizing Set, I felt like I was in heaven! I absolutely loved the Skin1004 products I tested before, Skin1004 is my favorite kbeauty brand and I was pretty sure I would love the Madagascar Centella Poremizing Deep Cleansing Foam and the Madagascar Centella Poremizing Fresh Ampoule too! And I do love the Ampoule, but unfortunately, I'm not a really big fan of the Cleansing Foam. Let me tell you why! 😉 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧? The Skin1004 Madagascar Centella Poremizing Deep Cleansing Foam is an all in one cleanser that should avoid the need to double cleanse. It promises a deep cleanse, even washing off sunscreen residues, dead skin cells and excess sebum and contains Centella from Madagascar, which is Skin1004's signature ingredient, for soothing and strenghening the skin, Kaolin Powder, which is powder made of Kaolin Clay, obviously, to control excess sebum, Rosemary Leaf Oil, Aloe Vera, Fruit Extracts and Papain, which is a protein degrading enzyme derived from Papaya Fruit, for exfoliation and hydration. It's also infused with Himalayan Pink Salt with a bunch of minerals to remove impurities and to rejuvenate the skin. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠: The packaging is an aspect I do like. This Cleanser comes in a pretty looking light pink colored plastic squeezable tube. The tube comes in a sleek, neat and modern looking carton box with a pretty looking pink and purple colored mountains print and features the most gorgeous looking iridescent lettering. It also has a matte coating, which feels very pleasant when holding the box. Skin1004 always has the most gorgeous packaging! ❤️ 𝐓𝐞𝐱𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐥: This Cleanser comes out of the tube as a sticky and chewy white paste and turns into a soft white foam when mixed with water. You have to take an appropiate amount of the paste into your wet hands (a pea-size amount of product is enough, a little goes a long way!) and rub them together to create the foam. After creating the foam, you just massage the foam into the skin and rinse your face with lukewarm water. Easy enough! 😉 I don't really like the sticky and chewy formula of the paste and while the foam does feel more pleasant, it actually is quite a subtle foam. I expected it to be more foamy, richer, creamier and heavier. My skin was feeling kinda dry and sticky while massaging in the foam too. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭: This is the part I absolutely dislike. None of the other Skin1004 I've ever tried had a noticeable scent, but this Cleanser does. It has this muddy, kind of earthy and musty smell. It's quite a natural scent, actually, but unfortunately, I absolutely hated it! I think it's the Kaolin Powder, since it's made from Kaolin Clay. Luckily, the scent doesn't linger and isn't noticeable anymore at all after rinsing the face! 😉 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭: I'm happy with the results though, my face was looking healthy, glowing, squeeky clean and firm and my skin felt smooth, hydrated, nourished and silky soft. Any make up residues were gone. My pores appear to look smaller but I haven't used the Cleanser for a very long time yet so it's possible that's only me projecting... 😉 After rinsing of the foam and patting dry my face, my skin wasn't feeling sticky or really dry anymore but I did experience my sensitive combination skin was feeling a bit tight though. I think it will suit people with oily skin better. 𝐌𝐲 𝐨𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐧: I absolutely hated the scent and I could definitely live without the sticky feeling of the paste, but I do feel happy with the results! But in all fairness, I wouldn't buy it again myself because of the sticky feeling of the paste, the dryness it causes while applying the foam and that aweful, horrible scent. It's suitable for all skin types and it promises a skin that feels moisturized and firm and looks dewy. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠: This sunscreen comes in a squeezable tube with a lichtblue cap and pomping system and looks neat, clean and modern. It makes the sunscreen hygienic and easy to use, which I absolutely love! The carton box it comes in is equally neat and modern looking. Skin1004 has such beautiful packaging! 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭: Upon application, it has a light and delicate fresh scent but the scents dissapears again as soon as the sunscreen touches the skin. 𝐓𝐞𝐱𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐥: The Water-Fit Sun Serum has a very lightweighted texture, it comes out as a cream but melts into the skin right away, without leaving a whitecast and without feeling greasy. I have to admit I was a bit dissapointed when I squeezed the tube for the first time and a cream came out, because it's supposed to be serum like, but my dissapointment melted away as quick as this sunscreen melted into my skin, what was like, immediately! 😉 It does have a very thin and watery serum like texture as soon as it hits the skin! It's longlasting, as you only need a tiny amount to cover your whole face and neck, but you still needs a few pumps though, because the amount that comes out of the pump in one push, is a bit too small. It has a light, slightly powdery scent that fades away immediately after application. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭: After application, my skin was feeling moisturized and hydrated, soft and smooth and looking firm, radiant and glowy, with a nice dewy finish. My skin didn't feel tight or dry but nice and supple. I was wearing this sunscreen when going outside during the heatwave that hit Europe the past few weeks and I didn't experienced any skinburns or discomfort. The Skin1004 Madagascar Centella Quick Calming Pad is a triple layered, larged sized pad, drenched in an Essence of Centella, Panthenol and Hyaluronic Acid, for an instant soothing and cooling effect on the skin. It promises to sooth and refresh the skin, providing the skin with instant cooling, and has healing and regenerating properties. It also provides moisture and hydratation to the skin and promises to gently remove dead skin cells while improving skin elasticity. These pads are suitable for normal to sensitive and combination skin. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭: As you might already know by now, I personally don't mind my products to have fragrances in it, but if they don't, that's okay for me too. This one doesn't have any scent, which obviously is very good when using them on sensitive skin. 𝐓𝐞𝐱𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐥: The first thing I notice is the size of the pads, they're huge! 2 or 3 of them is enough to cover your whole face. The pads have a crescent moon shape, making these specifically convenient to use on the eyes and cheeks area, since they can be placed on the cheeks with the cutout neatly under the eyes. The pads are quite thick and feel cottony soft when touching them. I was looking to find the material of the pads themselves, but I couldn't find what they're actually made of. My guess it cotton or bamboo, but I can't be sure. Whoever has this information, feel free to spill the deeds! 😉😁 The essence that comes from the pads doesn't feel sticky or greasy while and after applying and they really provide that instant cooling effect as promised. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠: The pads come in a brown / tan colored container, with a white lid and an extra protection lid on the inside. Also included is a convenient little tweezer to handle the pads with so you don't have to take them with your hands, which obviously is a way more hygienic way of handling the pads, instead of using your hands. The container contains 70 pads and 130ml Essence. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭: These pads are heaven! Really! They actually provide that instant cooling, calming and refreshing effect and they're so easy to use, it's a joy to use them! They tend to stay in place really good (at least on my skin) and the cutouts make it really convenient to use them in the under eye and cheek area. They're easy to use, you just take them out of the container using the provided tweezer and place them on the desired areas. Leave them on for 4 to 6 minutes and when taking the pads off, you just tap the excess essence into your skin with your fingers, and that's it! Easy does it! After using them, my skin feels fresh and moisturized, plump, smooth and hydrated, without feeling sticky, greasy or thight. My skin looks calm and refreshed, redness is less visible and my skintone looks balanced and toned. 𝐌𝐲 𝐨𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐧: I love to use these whenever I feel like my skin can use a little bit extra tlc but I don't have much time. In my opinion, they're just what you need to calm down your skin on a hectic day or when your skin just needs some refreshment. Highly recommended for anyone with a busy life and little time! Skin1004 is a natural brand and all Skin1004 products contain pure, natural and raw ingredients, with Centella Asiatica from Madagascar as their key ingredient. The Skin1004 Madagascar Centella Hyalu-Cica Sleeping Pack is a very lightweighted gel textured mask that works into the skin while you're sleeping. It contains ingredients like Hyaluronic Acid and Centella (also known as Hyalu-Cica) for hydration, to moisturize and nourish the skin and to calm the skin down and Melatonin to restore and rejuvenate the skin at night. It also contains pear and melon extracts, ceramide and niacinamide. 𝐓𝐞𝐱𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐥: The easy to spread and very light, watery gel texture gives a cooling and refreshing sensation (especially when stored in the fridge) and feels really nice while applying. It does feel a bit sticky while applying, but sinks into the skin quite easily. When absorbed fully, it doesn't have that sticky feeling anymore. Although it takes a bit to absorb into the skin fully, it still goes down quite fast. I would recommend to apply it aproximately 10 minutes before going to bed, like I do, to avoid sticky sheets and pillows. It will not be absorbed completely after 10 minutes, however, there will be much less stickyness. But it doesn't feel greasy though. I noticed that when I apply it sooner before going to bed (giving it the time to absorb completely), my skin feels smooth and soft and when I wake up in the morning, my skin is looking radiant, glowy, healthy, plump and young while still feeling smooth and soft. I didn't experienced dry of tight skin at any point. My skin also feels really hydrated, nourished and supple. The hormone Melatonin is known best for it's ability to help you sleep but I'm not entirely sure it also works on the quality of your sleep when used in skincare. I do have to admit that I feel like the Melatonin doesn't really do much to help me during my sleeping process. There definitely are nights I literally sleep like a baby and felt fresh and awake after waking up, but during other nights, I've been laying awake, staring at the ceiling for hours. However, I've been a difficult sleeper my whole life so it doesn't say that much after all... 😉 Besides that, I'm not using it necessarily to get that good night sleep, but rather for it's skin repairing and healing properties, for how it makes my skin look and feel while I'm sleeping and after I wake up. You also need a rather small amount of this mask, since it's meant to be applied in a thin layer, so it's quite longlasting too. The Skin1004 Madagascar Centella Soothing Cream is a gel textured cream that promises to moisturise the skin while calming the skin. It also promises to strengthen and repair the skin barrier, to give an instant cooling effect to relief skin redness and to firm the skin. It contains Ceramide, Cholesterol and Fatty Acids for their firming properties, highly purified Centella Asiatica from Madagascar, for it's soothing and repairing properties and Threhalose to provide and lock in moisture. This Cream can be used by all skin types, but is especially good for normal to sensitive skin, can be used on a daily base and is vegan and cruelty free, just like all Skin1004 products. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭: I didn't notice any scent. It's a fragrance free cream, which is particularly good for sensitive skin. 𝐓𝐞𝐱𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐥: This cream isn't really a cream, to be honest, it's more of a gel. It has a very lightweight, brownish colored gel texture that sinks into the skin as soon as it touches the skin and it really does have a cooling effect, as promised. It doesn't feel greasy or sticky. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠: The Cream comes in this sleek looking white tube with a light brownish cap and is easy to use by just pushing on the tube. The tube is packed in a matte white carton box with brown forest details and looks sleek and modern, as all Skin1004 products packaging does. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭: I absolutely love this cream! It feels so good to apply this cream! It's gel texture makes it so easy to use! It melts right into the skin, doesn't run all over your face, thanks to the gel texture, and makes my skin feel so soft, smooth, supple, nourished, moisturized and firm. And refreshed, thanks to the amazing cooling effect it provides! I didn't notice any tightness nor was my face feeling greasy or oily, not even for a minute! After application, my skin looks firm, hydrated and moisturized. My redness is less visible (even after the first application) and my skin is looking healthy, fresh and glowing. 𝐌𝐲 𝐨𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐧: The Madagascar Centella Soothing Cream is my new holy grail! I absolutely adore it and I definitely recommend it to everyone who's looking for a lightweight, gel textured moisturiser suitable for daily use! It's especially nice to wear during summer, as it's really suitable for hot weather. If my tube is empty, I'll definitely concider to buy another one! It reminds me of one of my other Skin1004 holy grails: the Madagascar Centella Sleeping Pack, because it has the same lightweight gel texture and provides the same cooling effect. This Ampoule, created to reduce sebum, minimize oiliness, thighten pores, strengthen the skin barrier and providing hydratation to the skin, contains soothing, strenghening and nourishing ingredients like Madagascar Centella, Aloe, Chamomile Extract, Hyaluronic Acid, Himalayan Pink Salt, Glycerin, peptides and Panthenol. It's suitable for all skintypes, even sensitive skin, is fungal acne safe and also has anti-aging and anti redness properties. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭: When opening the bottle, I didn't really noticed any scent. It's fragrance and alcohol free and doesn't contain any essential oils, which is good for people with sensitive skin or people who prefer fragrance and alcohol free products for any other reason. Personally, I don't mind fragrances or alcohol in skincare. Fragrances or alcohol aren't really a dealbreaker to me (if the alcohol isn't drying out my skin, obviously) but I do understand why people would prefer fragrance and alcohol free products. Especially because alcohol is proven to dry out the skin. But if you do prefer frangrance and alcohol free products, this one is absolutely perfect for you! It's also paraben free, sulfates free and silicon free. 𝐓𝐞𝐱𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐥: This Ampoule is so very lightwheight, it's fantastic! It has a clear, light, watery texture and absorbs into the skin right away, leaving a really fresh and soothing feeling. The Ampoule doesn't feel sticky or greasy while or after applying. The huge 100 ml bottle (again, sustainable, because a little goes a long way and you only need a small amount to cover your whole face and neck) is packed into a modern, sleek and neat looking carton box with a recognizable, beautiful pink and purple mountain print and a matte finish, which makes the carton box feel very pleasant when holding it in your hand. The oily areas on my combination skin are looking less greasy and any redness is less visible too. 𝐌𝐲 𝐨𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐧: My skin absolutely loves the Skin1004 Madagascar Centella Poremizing Fresh Ampoule! I especially love the fresh feeling, de matte finish and the amount of hydratation it provides. I'm also loving the beautiful sustainable packaging and the fact that the bottle is huge, providing me with enough product to keep my skin feeling soft and smooth and looking healthy and radiant for ages!
