Freshly Juiced Vitamin Charging Serum
This gel based serum did a fantastic job of not only helping my hyperpigmentation, but also with my acne breakouts as well.
MeaningInMakeup
As someone with dry leaning skin, this was a super hydrating gel serum. Not only that but I adore that this serum didn’t leave behind a sticky feeling residue either. Plus I felt that it helped with the redness my skin can get left behind from acne. I also liked that it didn’t have a strong dcent either. I cannot suggest this enough!

Deep Sea Droplet Serum
A super hydrating serum, I wanted to see how this held up by itself (especially as someone with dry skin). I was impressed when it kept my skin hydrated even without a moisturizer applied on top of it, especially as someone with dry skin.

Product was gifted for free by Purito and the Picky app in exchange for my honest review. I’ll be honest, when I first saw the ‘deep sea water’ on the products, I wasn’t sure what to expect. However I have had experience with ingredients from the ocean in skincare and saw promising results with those, so I was excited to try this. I also appreciated that on YesStyle, this product’s ingredient break down list said what each ingredient was doing on the formula which I would love to see more brands do. If you’re someone who hasn’t been to sure of whether to try an essence or not, but don’t want to add the extra step to their routine, then this serum is for you. All the benefits of a serum with the water like texture of an essence. This serum glides across your skin easily like water as you gently rub it into your skin, and leaves your skin looking hydrated and dewy and feeling firm. The first time I applied it, it felt a little like it sat on top of my skin (but not in a bad way, it wasn’t sticky). The second and third times I used it, I had applied the serum in circular motions as instructions told consumers to do. I didn’t have the feeling of residue on top of my skin like that first time I tried it. I’m someone who has really dry skin, and this serum was super hydrating for me. I was so pleasantly surprised by this one and will be suggesting it to others who also have dry skin and are looking for a new hydrating like to try out.

Licorice pH Balancing Advance Serum
Another fantastic option for people with dry leaning skin, this was a hydrating creamy serum formula that features both licorice water and licorice root (without smelling of licorice at all).

I got this for free from Acwell and the Picky app in exchange for my honest review. This creamy serum was perfect for my dry skin. I especially loved it in combination with the matching toner from this same line. It didn’t leave my skin feeling sticky, but it did leave it feeling hydrated. The licorice water can help fight dark spots, which I deal with as a result of acne. And this serum left my skin looking dewy fresh.

Cicarelief Rx Fade In Serum
Another lightweight gel option that helps fight post acne red spots/hyperpigmentation. Still managed to be a moisturizing option for my dry leaning skin.

Product gifted for free by Real Berrier and the Picky app in exchange for my honest review. Really happy with this serum formulation! It’s a gel which I’ve found my super dry skin really likes, it leaves my skin feeling nice and hydrated. I found that this also helped with hyperpigmentation/red spots left behind by acne. It was a fantastic option for me.

No.5 Glutathione Vitamin C Concentrated Serum
Another creamy serum, this was a great vitamin c option that wasn’t too strong for my sensitive/dry leaning skin.

Product gifted for free by Numbuzin and the Picky app in exchange for my honest review. I absolutely adore Vitamin C serums. As someone with acne, I’ve found that they can be incredibly helpful in fighting hyperpigmentation left behind by acne. This serum did a fantastic job of that. Plus I’m someone who has dry leaning skin, and I found that this serum was nice and hydrating. It didn’t leave my skin feeling sticky at all, and I appreciated that it didn’t have any strong scent at all as someone with fragrance sensitivities. This is one product and brand that I will definitely be suggesting to friends.

Miracle Vitamin C Serum
Another great Vitamin C option to help with the healing of post acne red spots/hyperpigmentation. This one is lightweight and I think fantastic for all skin types. Not as creamy as the last one, so I definitely feel like this is safe for oily and acne prone skin.

Product gifted for free by Dewytree in exchange for my honest review on the Picky app. I was pleasantly surprised by the ingredients in this formula! Of course the main star being vitamin c to help combat hyperpigmentation. But it also features turmeric to help with inflammation. It also features hydrating ingredients such as niacinimide, hyaluronic acid, panthenol, and glycerin. All of which my dry leaning skin appreciated. Thanks to these ingredients, if I accidentally didn’t get to my moisturizer afterwards (sometimes I get distracted when I let my serum soak into my skin), I didn’t wake up with any dry patches like I sometimes can with less moisturizing serum formulas. This wasn’t overly sticky, and it didn’t have an overly strong scent. Definitely recommend this one to others.
