This is the first snail product I ever tried, so I didn’t know what to expect with the texture. It contains 95% snail secretion filtrate, so I really expected it to just be so slimy and I wasn’t sure I would even like it. (I recorded these videos way when I used this mask for the very first time, so you can see my very first reaction to it). Well, it is slimy but I love it! It’s fragrance free and has a thick jelly like texture that takes a bit of smoothing out when you apply it to get it spread evenly. It has a really nice cooling effect when applied. It also contains cica, hyaluronic acid, and licorice root that all help to hydrate and calm my skin so nicely. Perfect for the winter time and perfect for when I’m having a rosacea flare up. I’ve been using it a lot this winter. It does take a bit of work to wash off, but I find that using a microfiber cloud puff to help wash it off helps a lot. I love the way my skin looks afterwards.

This mask is amazing! Worth the hype, worth the price. Of course the star ingredient is mugwort, but this mask also contains green tea, licorice root, centella asiatica, and allantoin, which are all great calming ingredients. It calms down redness, irritation, and inflammation so well. I have mild type 1 rosacea so there is always a redness/pinkness in my cheeks and there is almost no color in my cheeks after I use this mask. So soothing and hydrating. No harsh fragrances, and no smell to it really at all that I could tell. Really is a great mask for all skin types!

This is a great antioxidant clay mask. The star ingredients are glycerin, blackberry extract, green tea, allantoin, beta glucan, and hyaluronic acid. It’s a very creamy and hydrating clay mask. I was actually surprised at how easily it spread onto skin and how hydrated it left skin, that’s not usually the case for clay masks. It also had a bit of a cooling effect to it, which helped to calm my skin and bring down the redness from my rosacea. It has a slight blackberry scent to it, similar to the other products in the blackberry line. It wasn’t too hard to wash off with the help of a cloud puff and left my skin looking smooth and even. I think it’s a great clay mask for those with dry skin since it does contain quite a few hydrating ingredients. It did not leave my skin feeling dry and tight like some clay masks do.

This is a really interesting mask and I’ve never used one like it before! This is an exfoliating and warming clay mask and scrub. It has jojoba beads in it, that when the mask is rubbed onto the face, mix with the rest of the ingredients and produce a warming sensation. The jojoba beads are very gentle and burst once you start massaging the mask onto your face, so it’s not a harsh physical scrub. Also, it smells like pumpkin spice, which was honestly delightful. So it has really nice warm and cozy vibes and is perfect for fall and winter. Now here’s my warning: those of you who have rosacea and heat is one of your triggers (like me), this needs to be used sparingly and not left on the face for a long period of time. Because of the warming sensation, it did flair up my rosacea when I used it. However, I kept it on probably a little longer than I should have. The directions say to leave on for 5-15 minites and I left it on for about 10 minutes. So next time I will be leaving it on for less time and seeing if that helps. And the flair subsided once I applied a cold pack to my cheeks for a bit of time, so the mask wasn’t enough to cause a really bad and lasting flair up, it was temporary for me. This mask also contains salicylic acid, kojic acid, niacinamide, retinyl palmitate, and willow bark extract so those with sensitive skin need to be aware of all of those ingredients. My skin actually tolerates all of those ingredients well, so this did not cause any irritation for me. It’s definitely a product to use only on exfoliation nights though! And while it does have some ingredients that may be too harsh for some, it also contains some great calming ingredients like oat, aloe, chamomile, and licorice root. The mask is easy to rinse off and left my skin feeling very soft and supple.
