Okay this may seem stupid but I bought a Caudalie day cream and I'm wondering if I can use it at night. I got a moisturizing SPF since then and I've been using that during the day but now I don't know what to do with my non SPF day moisturizer. I don't want the day cream to go to waste. Thoughts? It's called Vinoperfect Instant Brightening Moisturizer and it's not on Picky or I'd tag it.

Day Cream at Night?

Is it possible to have dry, acne prone skin, or am I crazy? I ask because I tend to self describe this way, but many websites pit oily and acne prone together. So for example, Herbivore is releasing 2 new moisturizers, one for dry/neutral skin and another for combo/oily/acne. Does this mean I am just combo tho? What about us dry-acne prone types?

My face is usually pretty clear of acne but I recently had a big breakout of 3 under the surface pimples, 2 on my cheek and one on the bridge of my nose, like where my sunglasses sit. I'm so used to treating my dry skin that now it isn't dry anymore but I have no idea how to use products to ensure I'm not making the acne worse. Do exfoliants help or hurt? Should I stop the toner? Any advice? I'll tag my routine below (I don't use the sleep mask every night).

Question About Acne

I have a hard time buying into the little plastic spatula hype. I think it's funny when "clean" or "environmentally conscious" brands make products that have little plastic scooper spoons that literally no one will take for real recycling. Y'all know u can use a real spoon right? Or a teaspoon? Or get creative? Just trying to point out some branding inconsistencies 🙈🙉🙊

What you can see from the pictures sold me on claiming the Pretty Filter Icy Sherbert Primer in a Picky giveaway–texture so insane, I couldn’t wait to get my camera all up on it. It’s billed to have a “cooling effect” that I did not notice, but all the same, putting it on was a dream. I used this and the result was blurred, flawless skin that lasted all day. 

My positives:
-Gel texture is smooth and bouncy
-Thankfully silicone free for us breakout-prone girls
-I’m not always a fragrance person, but I LOVE the smell (it’s something like geranium, but familiar to childhood, something I can’t put my fingers on)
-It’s only $20 full price


🤔 I’m not a full-face makeup kind of person so this worked well for a low-key tinted moisturizer and sometimes mascara wearer
🤔 If you don&#39;t like essential oils in skincare this is definitely not for you.

The texture is my favorite thing about this balm: it’s a yummy &amp; satisfying gel texture that’s stiff and smooth. It coats and cleans nicely so I can tell I’m not missing spots. Has a very subtle essential oils type scent that I find pleasant. I do think it works to give me extra plumpness while also cleansing--I can actually see the difference staring at myself on Zoom calls all day XD.

Not my fav GR product tbh. My least favorite thing about it is I can feel it sitting sticky on my face, which makes me hesitant to layer. While it doesn&#39;t dry my skin out, it also doesn&#39;t seem to have any outstanding benefits, so it may be too weak for my skin which is used to stronger exfoliants. This is probably better for beginners or those trying to exfoliate with very sensitive skin.

The directions on this thing are ridiculously dangerous. 1-2 times a day? That will burn your face off. Super irresponsible to put that on the package. I have dry, sensitive skin and I wouldn&#39;t buy it again.

The clear packaging looks cool but it makes it almost impossible to read directions and ingredients. That would scare me from buying it at the store, but I was happy to chance it since it was sent to me for free. Minus one star for packaging.

I really saw a difference after one use, in both me and my partner. Our skin was smoother and pimple redness decreased. I experienced no sensitivity or redness, and I put these in the fridge just for fun 🙂
