4. Engage: Mention their recent posts and your content ideas.
5. Be enticing but brief.
6. Attach your social media links and media kit.
7. Close: Ask if they're interested in collaborating.

I truly appreciate your help in my previous discussion about the difference between PR, giveaways, and collaboration. I've started to understand them now.

Anyway, I wonder how do you deal with a brand who wants to collaborate but seems like they actually doesn't want to. So a brand contacted me, it's a legit brand and I believe most of you guys already know this brand. They contacted me at Nov, and there's no further updates about the collaboration. They keep postponing when I try to reach out to them in Dec and Jan. It's been months now, and they said ohh we're gonna do it by February. 

What do you think about it? Should I just ignore this brand or try to reach out to them again about the collaboration? Honestly, I feel a bit confused because I'm so excited to get another collaboration, but I'm also annoyed that they don't give any clear update about it.

How do you deal with this kind of brand?

Hello! I used a retinol serum once long ago maybe in 2020/2021, but I stopped using it because my acne got worsened at that time. But now my skin is pretty healthy, and I'd love to use retinol to prevent wrinkles. 
 
The whole thing is, I've never used retinol since 2021 until now.

Do you think I should start with low concentration or can I move on with upgraded concentration?

Retinol For Beginners

Hey everyone! 

I wonder if I can remove my genetic eye bags with skincare only. I've read some blogs that genetic eye bags can be removed by injections. I don't want to do that. 

I've been looking for skincare that clinically proven to remove eye bags, but there's no results. Mostly the results are for dark circles and fine lines. 

Do you have any suggestions? Or is it really impossible to remove the eye bags?

As we know, we may not mix some actives in one routine, for example retinol with vitamin C or exfoliating ingredients and any other mixings.

But, there are a bunch of products out there that combining more than 3 actives in one product! I know that they've done research and certification before distributing them, but I'm still so confused🙂

I found some product combining retinol, niacinamide, AHA, PHA. The other one combining AHA, BHA, PHA, niacinamide. I also found a product which combines retinol, vitamin C, niacinamide into one product😱

Is it good and safe for our skin to use this kind of product? Or do you prefer to use product which is focusing on one active but works really well based on its single function?

Please share your experiences and thoughts on this☺️

More Than 3 Actives in One Product

I don't really like the packaging since the product getting spilt over easily when I try to take out or put the pipette back to the bottle. 

This serum has a thick texture, yet still lightweight and not sticky at all. After finishing 1 bottle of this serum, I felt my skin is more hydrated and plumper. It also helps controlling my sebum production since my skin is well hydrated, it produces less oil. This serum gives my skin a healthy dew finish without any heavyweight feeling.

I didn't find any unpleasant smell or fragrances, I didn't find any irritation or breakouts either. It's still my holygrail and will always be!

A viscous consistency serum, with no fragrances. Very easy to blend on the skin, leaving it feeling hydrated without making it sticky or greasy. I've been using this serum for 2 years, and it's still become my favourite! I'm not joking, even though this serum is formulated for hydrating and plumping skin, but it works like wonder for my acne! I got breakouts all over my face for 4 years before I met this serum, and this was my saviour! Besides helping with my acnes, it also helps in fading my acne scars both PIH and PIE. If you ask me if I used any other active ingredients, the answer is NO! I got breakouts so badly that I didn't dare to use too many steps of skincare. I was just washing my face and using this serum, and I clearly saw improvements in a year after using it. Yes, it took a year, but now my skin is clear, healthy, and supple, really worth it!

I haven't found anything bad from this product. As for me, maybe it's just the price that's quite pricey in my country. It's also hard to find it here, so I need to buy it from a global site which costs a lot for shipping.

OMG why isn't this sunscreen hyped?! Seriously the best sunscreen I've tried so far! The essence-like consistency which melts upon application felt just so good on the skin! It's very lightweight, watery, and quickly absorbed into the skin while providing just enough moisture and hydration to my oily skin. The finish is a fresh and moist finish, somewhat between matte but still gives a bit dewy look. The fragrance smells like a watermelon which is very refreshing in a pleasant way. After a few hours, it didn't make my skin looked dull or oily. It stayed fresh and the cooling sensation was still there! Perfect for oily skin, especially if you live in a tropical place. 

It stings my eyes a lot😭 I really hope they can reformulate this sunscreen so it doesn't sting my eyes.

The texture is lightweight cream. It's not watery, yet it's not too thick. I think it has a hint of pink tint in it for the tone up effect. I didn't experience any negative effects while using this product. It doesn't make my skin oilier or dull after a few hours, and it gives a bit of tone up effect🥰

Although it's non-stripping, it's not hydrating enough. But I can understand it because it's meant to be rinsed.

I love that this cleanser contains a lot of ingredients that are very beneficial for my skin type! The texture is gel and produces subtle amount of foam. It doesn't have any weird or strong smell. It's very easy to rinse and I don't feel my skin stripped.
