Fungal Acne

Hello! I’m 20 years old and I have recently found out I have fungal acne. I never had skin problems before, but ever since I started to get fungal acne my skin has become sensitive and every cleanser that I have tried only seems to make the acne worse or doesn’t do anything at all. I was recently recommended the CeraVe foaming cleanser because it’s supposedly fungal acne safe, but before I do try it, I was wondering if anyone that has had or has fungal acne can confirm that it is indeed fungal acne safe. Thank you in advance to anyone who takes some time to read and answer.

I’d personally recommend going for a SA one. I believe it will help to get it all out faster & get rid of the bumps Also, you can always check the ingredient lists of the products you want to try on https://folliculitisscout.com (this site specialises on detecting fungal acne triggers and they have great tips on how to make it better)

Have you heard about this? It's a shampoo but they said you can use it as a face mask for five minutes. Hyram from @skincarebyhyram on youtube is always mentioning it. You can check his channel oit to find out more about this product.

hi! fungal acne can also be caused by too much moisture in the skin so its not all up to the ingredients. Irecommend using products with ingredients like Ketoconazole, salicylic acid and niacinamide :)

I actually haven’t, i’m very new to all of this so I dont know what products to go for and unfortunately due to not being able to afford the products that my dermatologist has recommended i’ve been trying to find something a little more affordable, but still safe for my condition.
