PAO: The Ordinary Granactive Retinoid 2% Emulsion

Who else is using this? I just noticed on the bottle it says 3M in the Period After Opening (see image). Can you check yours if it's the same? Sorry for asking, it's going to be most likely the same but I was just surprised it's too short period. I was like, seriously? I'm using it for 2 months and not even able to consume a quarter! 😭😒 I am using it only every 3days, in the beginning I incorporated it slowly like 1x a wk for 3wks... Now I feel like I have to use every evening. Have you ever finished a bottle of this in 3months period? Do you apply to other parts of the body e.g. neck, hands etc... I'd love to hear a feedback. 🙏 UPDATE: I asked one of my friend. She bought hers from HK and it's 6M. I bought mine from EU.

I’m interested in hearing what happens if you use after this date. I do imagine that the product starts to break down and not be as effective etc but I can’t be sure. But this is why I bought another drugstore retinol that had a 12m on it because it does feel very wasteful both environmentally and financially.

I’m currently using the below which is 12m so I’ll let you know how I feel about it after a little while longer! Hopefully it’s not too bad and you could still use it. I use The Ordinarys Ascorbic Acid 8% + Alpha Arbutin 2% which only has 6m but I continued to use it because it hadn’t oxidised which I believe is the reason for the date. I had no adverse affects and it appeared to give me the same benefits too.

I have the same. April is it's third month for my bottle and I haven't even gone halfway 😭 Same with the squalane based 3M PAO and yeah, it smells different after that

Oh no. This is a bit sad to hear. Do you use it on your neck? I am also thinking of using on the back of my hands to make the most of it. What do you think?

Omg I’ve been interested in this product but 3 months? No way I’d be able to finish that 😪

Exactly! Not worth it! Otherwise, the product itself is good. I am a bit annoyed now. How am i gonna finish the rest for about 25ml in a month? Haha Are you using other retinol? I have a back up from No 7. It's 6M 🙁 but better than 3M.

I have the same too! Their retinols. PAO is 3months too. Now, idk how to do with it 😕 i used barely a quarted since I dont use retinol everyday, and retinols is advised to be used during night time.

Yours is past pao date? Hopefully not yet. If not yet, do you think we can use on the back of the hands too?

This was also my concern with TO Retinols. I used mine beyond PAO and new pimples appeared. There’s still 1/4 left from the bottle to spare 😩 I used it everyday doe.
