Cosrx BHA vs AHA vs Toner

Hi everyone! 👋 I was thinking about adding the Cosrx AHA 7 whitehead power liquid into my routine and came across the AHA/BHA toner and wanted opinions! I currently use the BHA blackhead liquid every second day, and was wondering if instead of using it and the AHA, if I should just get the toner? I don't love the toner I'm using right now (benton aloe bha) anyway. Although because of it being AHA/BHA, would it be ok to use daily? Let me know what you guys think!

I read on their website the COSRX AHA/BHA toner is formulated to be a daily toner. The difference between AHA/BHA together and separately is that when formulated together it is more gentle than using as individual acid. As with all acids, I do recommend working your way to get your skin used to the toner first. When you think your skin can handle it, I guess using it daily should be fine.

If you like to cute down on steps and want the benfits of AHA I’d go for it. I love BHA/AHA products more than just a BHA or AHA personally, but you don’t need to use them more than 3 times a week really. I’d just use it at night after a hydrating toner and then wait 15+ minutes and carry on with rest of your routine.

Still depends. Clarifying toner contains low percentage of actives (I think less that 1%) so they’re pretty much safe for daily use. I’d still prefer using AHA/BHA with slightly higher concentration. I don’t think the concentration of the clarifying toner is enough to exfoliate the skin.

I suppose at that point, using the toner might be counter productive!
