Least favorite ingredient?

What's your number one well loved ingredient that just doesn't work for your skin? For me, it's hyaluronic acid. I've tried different brands, applying wet, mixing it on different products. It does nothing for me and dries me out no matter how moisturized my skin is before or after applying. What about you???
