How and when are MVP reviewers selected?

I've seen discussions about Benton giveaway MVPs (congrats 🥳) which was in July. But for example, the Gentle hour giveaway was in June, and I hadn't seen anyone posting about MVP. Are the winners only contacted via email, or is there some announcement? I would like to read the winning reviews to learn from them 😊 But I don't know how to find them.
