Is AHA/BHA Toner okay for everyday use?

Hi! I'm new to AHA/BHA toners. Can I use this one for everyday use? If not, can you please recommend some toners that I could use in replacement of it? Thank you! 💛

yes you can ! it only contains 0.1% aha and 0.1% bha ! its actually formulated to be used daily so that’s completely fine ! however if you still worry you can start with 2-3 times a week and work yourself up to daily use ( however i would only use it 1 time a day , because you dont want to exfoliate your skin)

You can use them everyday since it has mild percentage and suitable for aha/bha beginner 😊 but it depends on your skin toleration. If your skin's got bad reaction and can't tolerate them, you can apply them 2 - 3 times a week only 🙇🏻‍♀️

Depending on how the toner is formulated, some people find they can use BHA and AHA toners daily, but generally you should only be exfoliating 3-4 times a week to avoid over exfoliating and compromising your skin barrier. It's typically best to have a toner that is very moisturizing and/or contains ingredients that help the rest of your routine sink in and stay put. You could try something really simple like the alcohol free Dear Klairs toner, which is very hydrating and has beta glucan to aid the rest of your routine, or something that feels more like water on the skin and is refreshing and hydrating like Cosrx's centella toner. I find my toner kind of changes with my mood or according to what my skin is asking for that day, and there are many great choices. Just be sure to pick one with little to no alcohol with ingredients that are hydrating and that suit what you're after for your skin needs. Some brands do 4 pack samples of a variety of toners if you're wanting to try a couple things out. I know Cosrx does that fairly often. Here are a few of my personal favorites, at a variety of price points.

Thank you very much! ☺💛 I would definitely try out Cosrx Centella Toner in replacement of the AHA/BHA toner in some days. My skin is currently peeling of after two consecutive days of using the AHA/BHA toner in my night routine. I dont know if it was an effect due to a complete change in my skin care routine, or due to the AHA/BHA toner itself. Will definitely cconsider your suggestion! Thank you again! 💛

I would not recommend using more than once every 2-3 days as the greatest creator of a damaged skin barrier is an over usage of exfoliatants. This happened to me after a few months of daily use of BHA or AHA. Your skin needs to have collagen and moisture to stay healthy. If you are worried about break outs, I recommend soothing moisture balancing products to be alternated with AHA/BHA use. Hope that helps!
