Youfromme.com: Skincare resale site

Happy New Year Pickies! I wanted to share this site since many people clean out their skincare stashes and/or start new routines at the start of the year. While I haven’t resold or donated yet, I have purchased through youfromme.com and I was happy with the products and transaction experience. They carry skincare, body, makeup, and some appliances depending what can safely resold without contamination issues. On the buyer side, you can purchase never-opened and lightly used products at a big discount. The site has strict rules about what can be resold around hygiene and amount of product remaining (min. 80% remaining and resale prices reflect the amount of product in the container.) My favorite purchase was Shani Darden Retinol Reform which sells new for around $80 but I got for $34! On the selling side, it’s a place to sell products you either bought and didn’t love or received to review and aren’t going to finish. There are options for cash or site credit, and if you send anything that can’t be resold safely or is under a certain dollar amount, they will donate or recycle it for you at no charge. They have a process set up to send your products in that covers shipping and a human inspects everything for suitability and resale price. I’m in the US so I can’t speak to buying or selling internationally but I think it’s a pretty cool idea for folks like us that receive many new products AND like a deal! https://youfromme.com

They’re great so far! I sent some unopened stuff I have and they’re really organized. One of the items I sent was sold and they sent the payment within a few business days. I used to sell unused stuff on my Poshmark/Mercari, but I wanted to try YouFromMe because it’s exclusively beauty products! So far, so good!

How do they check whether the PAO of opened products has passed?

in addition to having product requirements and checking expiration dates, batch/lot codes for manufacturing dates, UPC, etc., they also have a quality control process they follow especially for opened products! https://youfromme.com/pages/restoration fortunately, a lot of their products are brand new and unused — like the ones i sent are still factory sealed and have never been touched at all! (problems of a skincare enthusiast 🥲)

I have a box of unopened items I won’t be using that I’m collecting to send to them! I hate being wasteful so I really love this idea. I haven’t purchased anything from them yet but whenever I browse there are so many great items up for sale, most brand new at a great price.

Thanks for the tip! I’m too scatterbrained to sell/send stuff in, but I might buy from here!
