At what percentage retinal should you start?

At the moment I’m using 0,5% retinol and my skin tolerates it very well. I want to start retinal, should I start at 0,05 or 0,1%? I was thinking buying one of these!

G&G compares their 0.05% retinal serum to a mid-strength retinol product (0.2-0.5% range), but with less irritation potential and possibly quicker results, while they compare their 0.1% retinal to a strong retinol product (0.5-1% range) and mention that it is for advanced retinoid users. It sounds like your skin tolerates 0.5% retinol well so you could try the 0.1% retinal strength?

If you are team Better be safe than sorry and you're not in a hurry to see results (like me) I would suggest the 0.05%. If your skin tolerates it very well you can work on increasing the frequency as much as your skin can handle.

I suggest a cautious approach. Get the 0.05%

If you’re a beginner with Retinol the best percentage to start with is 0.1% which is proven to be safe and gentle on the skin.
