Thanks to the moisturizing effects of snail mucin, retinol + snail mucin can be a great combination. So try it out and see how your skin likes it

it works for me. but I have heard claims that snail mucin has glycolic acid in it. I don’t know if it is true or not.

It is generally safe to mix retinol and snail mucin together, as they can complement each other's benefits. However, it's always recommended to do a patch test and observe how your skin reacts before combining any new products.
When using retinol, it's important to:
- Start with a low concentration and gradually increase it.
- Use it at night and always use sunscreen during the day.
- Avoid using retinol with other exfoliating agents or products containing vitamin C or benzoyl peroxide, as they may cause irritation.
As for snail mucin, it is known for its hydrating and soothing properties but may not directly target acne scars. It can help improve overall skin texture and provide some skin brightening effects.

I definitely mix these two, as well as a moisturizer because I already have dry skin and retittends to make it worse.
