What to do with closed comedones/whiteheads?

Clogged pores are caused by the accumulation of dead skin cells, dirt and excess sebum. Exfoliation can help you to unclog your pores. Products that will unclog your pores are clay masks or exfoliating products that contain AHA. AHA is more gentler for the skin and is great for whiteheads. Also make sure you double cleanse to prevent your pores from getting clogged. You can also use salicylic acid to clean out any debris or dead skin. And another ingredient that helps is benzoyl peroxide that keeps closed comedones from forming by killing bacteria. Niacinamide can be a good additional ingredient against whiteheads. They control excess sebum. Here are some products I'd try:

AHA has helped me with my whiteheads. This essence from isntree is afav of mine and you have to be a little patient but after 2 months or so I started noticing the small differences already and it got better little by little

Zinc helped me

Regularly exfoliating, double cleansing with cleansing oil and clay masking are great for clearing congestion and reducing comedones. For sensitive skin, a lower strength AHA like mandelic or lactic acid would work best.

This is amazing. Although it takes a lot of patience and consistentency the result will be amazing. I have clogged pores before and this is the only product I've tried.
