Do you use any bha's currently?
Are they in toner/serum form? (Stays on skin)
Or wash off? (Cleanser)
Does it cause irritation? (Serum may be too strong % )
If you haven't used Bha's before maybe the TO mask is better as it will sit on your skin for a short time before being removed lessening your chance of irritation. After that you can progress to the toner for a deeper treatment

The more direct counterpart to the PC is actually the TO Salicylic Acid 2%. I actually love both and they both work well for me but in terms of consistency, the PC is watery while the TO is viscous. This makes the PC better for covering large areas where congestion or clogged pores occur and the TO better for spot treatments, although you can make either one work for both functions.

If you're having dry skin, the clay mask is probably not for you, as it's gonna make your skin dryer.
Another difference, apparently, is how long these products will stay on the skin. TO mask needs to be washed off, hence a shorter skin contact time, which also means less SA effect but less SA irritation.
