I received this product for free from Picky and NUMBUZIN in exchange for my honest review. If blotting sheets never worked for you or you aren’t into trying out setting powder/makeup, this product is the perfect alternative! It instantly mattifies your skin and makes it look less shiny. So if you aren’t into the glass skin look, you can also combine this with other skincare products if you feel that they left your skin looking more oily than ‘glowy’. I love that you can mix it in with your favorite serum or cream, and it didn’t have ingredients that could interact with actives like acids or retinol. It does feature niacinamide though to help with post acne hyperpigmentation. Note that in my before and after, I only applied it to my nose and chin. I could have also done my forehead probably, but I knew I would be applying cream right after this. I chose to layer my skincare: serum, powder, then cream on this day. But it truly depends on what you’re looking for from this powder. I love that it compliments your routine, and it’s got more skincare ingredients than traditional powder makeup usually does. I’m definitely looking forward to continue playing with this product.

I received this product for free from Picky and ANUA in exchange for my honest review. I am someone with a sensitive nose, so I appreciate the fact that this is a fragrance free option. I also have sensitive skin and this was a lovely option for me. I’ve found that rice skincare products like this one are super gentle. It gets its name from the 71% rice brand water in the formula. It’s also meant to help with sebum production, and I didn’t have issues with it leaving my skin feeling dry either. I tend to get eczema patches on my face if a product doesn’t provide enough moisture, and I didn’t have that problem with this line at all. This is a nice lightweight option that still offers a lot of moisture. It also features ingredients like glycerin, panthenol, niacinamide, ceramide, and asorbic acid (also known as vitamin C, but it’s a small amount because it’s so far down the ingredient list. The lower down the list, the less strong the ingredient). You can use this as a gentle toner with or without a cotton pad. If you have the cleansing powder from this line, you can also mix this toner with it for a unique rinse off mask. I really enjoyed this toner, and I’m often picky about them.

This was an easy five out of five stars for me. I adore skincare that is free of added fragrances. I’m someone with dry leaning skin, so thicker creams like this one tend to be better for my everyday routines (especially in the winter). I deal with eczema of the face, so the real test for me and moisturizers is whether I wake up with flaky skin in the morning. I am happy to say I had no flakes after using this cream overnight! You don’t need a ton of this moisturizer either. A little bit goes a long way. Even just a bit more than a pea size was enough for my whole face and neck. I think you can do an even smaller amount if you have more oily leaning skin. It didn’t leave me feeling greasy after application which is also important to me. My skin still felt like it could ‘breathe’ with this cream, even though it was in the thicker side. Key ingredients are: glycerin, shea butter, jojoba seed oil, and panthenol to really help your skin maintain moisture. It also features rice bran and Centella Asiatica. It is formulated to help with oil balance, even though people with oily skin automatically think thicker creams won’t work with their skin type. Sometimes skin gets oily as a result of your skin actually being dry. The skin over produces oil as a result of it lacking moisture in your routine. So this may be worth a shot to add to your routine too.

I received these products for free from Picky and SKIN1004 in exchange for my honest review. The brand is pronounced “skin one oh oh four”, also known as 천사 (cheon-sa) which means Skin Angel. I absolutely adore the fact that this is a fragrance free SPF, so no icky lingering smell to this. And the texture isn’t thick or goopy. It’s nice and lightweight, so it doesn’t take forever to blend into your skin. I also didn’t have any issues with a white cast. As someone with more dry leaning skin, I still found this to be a moisturizing SPF option. I had no issues with dry skin showing through by the end of the day which is usually how I decide whether a moisturizer is good enough for dry leaning skin or not. Like the rest of the products from Skin1004, one of the main ingredients in this formula is going to be Centella Asiatica/cica. That is an all star ingredient that helps irritated skin, and I’m someone who deals with both dry leaning and acne prone skin. This is an ingredient that seems to help keep both under control. It also features tea tree leaf water which has anti bacterial properties, making it ideal to combat acne as well. Overall I was very pleased by this product.

I received this product for free from Picky and Primera in exchange for my honest review. I’m someone who usually prefers pigmented options over clear glosses, so I definitely preferred how this subtle pink looked compared to the clear option. But a cute color option isn’t usually enough to get a five star rating out of me. This was a more tacky/thick feeling lip product. I was expecting a lip serum to be smoother and have more skincare ingredients in it besides the retinol. There were multiple oils used in the formula, so again I thought this would be more of a lip oil texture (so more lightweight), but it wasn’t. This was my first time using a retinol product for my lips, and it is meant to be used every 2-3 days if you have sensitive skin like me, until your skin becomes accustomed to you using this product, then you can eventually use it daily as a plumping product (continued use it meant to result in fuller looking lips over time). This is your reminder that you need to also pair this with a lippie with SPF in your routine, because lips can get sun burned just like the rest of your skin! Did I see plumper lips while using this? I don’t think so. This felt like an average lip product in my opinion.

I received this product for free from Picky and NUMBUZIN in exchange for my honest review. For those who may not know, Pantothenic Acid/B5 is also known as panthenol. I love the majority of the ingredients: hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, Centella Asiatica, and green tea extract. I also love the fact that this is a fragrance free product! This has a water like texture that absorbs super easily, and the Pantothenic Acid is meant to help with sebum/oil production which can also help people who deal with acne as a result of their oily skin type. I would definitely suggest this product and brand to others.

I’m usually someone who prefers spray products in my routine because they’re supposed to be easier to use. That wasn’t the case with this one for me, I did end up having to remember to shield my eyes whenever I use this product (because it stung like no other if my eyes weren’t closed tight enough during the spraying application process). I do usually enjoy spray skincare because it means you can easily re-apply throughout the day for an added layer of moisture without needing to make sure your hands are clean to pat the serum in. Because it’s such a fine mist, it dries easily on its own. Key ingredients include green tea (which is great for inflammation like acne), cucumber extract and rice extract for moisture. It does have a light scent to it as well due to which is another reason it wasn’t my favorite product. It was an average product to me which is why it’s getting three out of five stars.

Key ingredients in this formula include Centella Asiatica/cica, which is fantastic for a damaged skin barrier (so for both people with dry leaning skin or those that deal with acne, and I deal with both), which makes up 72% of the formula according to the ingredients list. It also features glycerin to help your skin maintain moisture. I think because so little of this cream is needed, it could also compliment more oily leaning skin.

I received this product for free from Picky and ANUA in exchange for my honest review. I was so happy to finally have a cleanser from Anua that I enjoyed! Something that stood out to me is the fact that this is a fragrance free option. I’m someone with dry leaning skin and have had decent luck with powder based cleansers in the past. This one was great for me! I tried it both ways that the brand suggested: with water, and then using it with the toner from this same line and applying it as a rinse off mask. I enjoyed both versions, but probably enjoyed it mixed with the toner even more. I’m someone with dry leaning skin, and did not find that this cleanser left my skin feeling tight after use (which is an indicator that a cleanser is stripping your skin of too much moisture). Key ingredients for hydration: glycerin, panthenol, and the rice water. However, it is also a chemical exfoliant thanks to the Lactic Acid, as well as a physical exfoliant. Often times powder cleaners are physical exfoliants but they are much more finely milled compared to physical scrubs that a lot of us are used to. This means that it is also ideal to help combat sebum product for people with oily leaning skin. Lastly it features a lot dose of asorbic acid, also known as vitamin C. Which is where it gets the ‘Brightening’ in its name. The vitamin C and lactic acid can help get rid of dull looking skin and offer a ‘brightening’ effect. I definitely was a big fan of this one!

I received this product for free from Picky and NUMBUZIN in exchange for my honest review. For those who may not know, the main ingredient in this line is Pantothenic Acid/B5 also known as panthenol. This ingredient is great at helping promote a healthy skin barrier. So not only is it great for dry leaning skin like mine, but it can also help with excess sebum/oil production with continued use to also help with acne as a result of oily skin. Especially when you pair this moisturizer with the drying powder from the same line. It also features niacinamide which is a great ingredient at helping heal up post acne hyperpigmentation or post acne scarring. A little bit of this product goes a long way. But if you have more dry leaning skin like me, you can use a little bit more. I didn’t wake up with any dry patches, which is usually how I rate whether a cream is hydrating or not for dry leaning skin. It claims to give 100+ hours of hydration, but I never test those claims since I’m someone who prefers washing my face and doing my skincare at least once every 24 hours. But I can say it did keep my skin nice and hydrated in between washings. Lastly I love the fact that there was no strong scent to this product. So if you’re fragrance sensitive like me, you should be able to handle this product. At the very least I saw no added fragrances on the ingredient list. W

I received this product for free from Picky and ANUA in exchange for my honest review. Please note that the picture of me is on day one of using the product! I’m still dealing with active acne because of the heat of summer. But I have seen products with niacinamide like this one help me with my post acne scarring with continued use. This is definitely a product that has a lot of ingredients that could be allergens, the first that comes to mind is the cocoa extract. So as always check the ingredient list before trying a product if you have known allergies! I fell in love with this serum so fast! I love the texture of it: not too thick and not too thin. There was no added fragrance to the formula. It features hydrating ingredients like Hyaluronic Acid, Ceramides, and Glycerin. Of course we can’t forget the star ingredient of niacinamide which is great for helping with post acne hyperpigmentation. I tend to have dry leaning skin, but as long as I paired this with a thicker moisturizer, I didn’t have issues with this making my skin super flaky. Just remember to wear an SPF when using niacinamide (although a lot now feature that as an ingredient, which could lead to too much of the product on your routine. So definitely stay on top of what ingredients you are mixing in your routine!).

If you’re someone who loves minimal ingredient skincare, then this is a fantastic option! It only has ten ingredients. I love that there was no added fragrance. This came with tweezers. Plus a cap for an airtight seal to prevent these pads from drying out once they were opened. I also adore the fact that these pads left my skin feeling so hydrated after use. You can tear the pads down to size to fit your face better, I did this for my forehead. It features an amazing 49% Centella Asiatica/cica/tigers grass (this ingredient goes by all those names) to help people like me with a damaged skin barrier. I have dry leaning skin that also deals with acne outbreaks. I find that this ingredient often helps with both of those issues, which is why I love incorporating it into my routine. Overall these pads gave me results that I was happy with, and overall I enjoyed my experience with them. So I highly recommend these to others looking for a gentle toning pad to add to their routine.

One of my favorite things about this product is the fact that it didn’t leave as much of a residue as most other cleansing oils that I’ve tried. So you don’t really have to double cleanse with this one unless you really want to. It did a decent okay at removing my foundation and SPF at the end of the day. My notes about the fragrance and makeup removal are in the ‘things I didn’t like’ section. Key ingredients: jojoba seed oil, Black Currant Seed Oil, and black soybean oil. Black currant seed oil helps with moisture and the healing process, making it a great ingredient to help with acne as well. Black soybean oil is meant to help dry leaning skin. Meaning this is a formula that is meant to help both dry and oily leaning skin. It may seem contradictory, but oils are often good for oily leaning skin as well. I have drier leaning skin, and this cleanser did not feel stripping of moisture at all. Even on the rare occasion that I did decide to double cleanse (I still often do this with cleansing oils, even though this one didn’t leave as much of a residue feeling as some other oils).

I received this product for free from Picky and ANUA in exchange for my honest review. As someone who has sensitive skin, sometimes niacinamide can be too much for me if it’s too high of a concentration. Lucky for me, this one is a lower percentage at only 3%. So if you’re looking for a good starter niacinimide, this is definitely worth checking out in my opinion. I also adore the fact that this is a fragrance free product, because I can have sensitivities to scented skincare. Even though it looks sticky in my video, I was surprised by how lightweight it was. So it didn’t dry down leaving my skin feeling tacky or anything. When I used this in combination with the toner and cleanser from this same line, it was all hydrating enough for my skin that I surprisingly didn’t need a moisturizer. And I say that as someone who has dry leaning skin that can sometimes have flaky eczema patches.

Product was gifted to me by Nacific in exchange for my honest review. Considering this serum has oils in it (12 oils to be exact!), the texture was incredibly lightweight and it absorbs into the skin with ease. This probably has something to do with the fact that the first listed ingredient is water, so this is primarily a water based serum. Which is why it’s so lightweight. Remember because this is a multi layered serum, you need to shake it before using it. I also love the fact that you can apply more than one layer if you have more dry leaning skin like I do. I was also pleasantly surprised that I didn’t mind the scent of this serum. Sometimes herbal scented skincare just doesn’t fit my personal preference, but I liked this one. A couple of the ingredients that gave this serum its scent include: lavender flower and peppermint leaves. Considering it has the peppermint leaves, it wasn’t an overpowering minty scent in my opinion. It also features vitamins B and C, with vitamin c of course being a great ingredient to help fight post acne hyperpigmentation. Lastly, I was really impressed by how hydrated this serum left my skin looking.
