Acwell Licorice pH Balancing Cleansing Toner has a pH level of 5.5 to effectively balance your skin. Peony extract and a high concentration of licorice water - both natural brighteners - seep into skin to add an extra dose of luminosity to your complexion. Green tea extract also helps calm and reduce pigmentation, including acne scars and dark spots. After use, skin feels clean and smooth, not dry or tight. Because it's so good at removing any impurities left on the skin post-cleanser, it helps the rest of the products in your routine absorb better.

After testing out this toner for a while, I was super impressed by what it did AFTER my double cleanse. I personally like to boost the cleansing benefits of this toner by pouring some of it on a cotton pad and swiping it across my face after cleansing, which leaves me shocked every time I see how much dirt is left behind. I have to say, I have a pretty extensive double cleansing routine—from taking at least a minute to massage in my oil cleanser, another minute massaging my foaming cleanser into my skin, and thoroughly rinsing everything off. 

So, it’s a bit of a shock to have that much dirt left behind post-cleansing, but it made me appreciate this toner even more. Every time I use it now, I know I’m getting all the leftover gunk off my face so it’s left as clean as possible. This is such a plus because any leftover dirt, is usually the culprit behind stubborn acne. 

Besides its cleansing abilities, this toner is moisturizing, even on my dry skin. It’s also formulated to be perfect for more sensitive skin types. This rings true for me as my sensitive skin usually get irritated by most products but it just felt nice and soothed upon application of the toner. 

This is because the Acwell toner's formula is pH balanced at 5.5 and will not rob your skin of its natural oils. Because of the low pH, it is suitable for even the most sensitive skin. If you have extremely dry skin, I recommend layering your toner 2-3 times for an extra burst of hydration. But don't be fooled by the toner's light, watery appearance; it delivers quite a moisture punch.Overall, the Acwell Licorice pH Balancing Cleansing Toner cleanses and refreshes my skin, but the licorice also brightens and evens out my skin tone.

✨ACWELL Licorice pH Balancing Advance Serum✨

This lightweight, water-like serum soaks into the skin quickly and effectively. It was absorbed into my skin quickly but left a sticky feel behind until completely dry. When it dries it tightens my skin and hides my fine lines really well. The concentrated formula is without any added fragrance or color and is particularly great for combination and normal skin types, as well as sensitive skin.

In terms of brightening, I've noticed a tiny improvement in the appearance of my black patches, but nothing dramatic. I used one complete dropper's worth of product every time I applied it, so I was fairly lavish with it. I believe that after a month of constant application on my skin, I will notice a difference. I'm very hopeful that this serum would help me lighten my red acne scars. 

When you open the container of this serum, you may notice a slight aroma from natural ingredients such as licorice root and licorice water. Rest assured that it is fragrance-free, and the scent should dissipate once the serum is opened.

Apply a tiny layer to the skin after cleaning and toning, gently tapping and patting in until absorbed. To lock in high hydration, double layer on dry places and follow with a moisturizer.
