Products to pair with adapalene

I've been using adapalene 0.01 prescribed by my derm for more than 3-4 weeks I haven't had a major purge but I have gotten the normal breakouts which for me are deep cysts anyways I haven't been doing much with my routine but with the same old products -cleanser -moisturizer -sunscreen I want to know what products I want to add for my hyperpigmentation or to overall boost my routine, I have been thinking of purchasing cosrx snail musin for a long time I also want to know if I can exfoliate if so what products?
