Proteins denature. Denaturation means the protein changes into a different form. Think of it like a thick rope (collagen) which then becomes torn or cut into smaller or thinner pieces (peptides) when exposed to stress like extreme pH or temperature.

Oral forms of collagen - shakes, drinks, pills - become denatured as soon as they hit the digestive acids of your stomach.

They get broken down into peptides & amino acids w/c the body uses for muscle, enzyme, and hormone production - it's not "transported" to the skin.

be honest, do you wash your face and proceed to your skincare routine after you woke up?

I'm not sure if anyone of you has ever heard about this, but one of my friends told me (according to her mom) that I should not wash my face at night when I spend my whole day in front of cellphone or laptop because our eyes can lead to a blurred vision. What are your thoughts about this and how true is this? I'm always on my cellphone for the whole day everyday because of some work & school stuff and I need your opinion about this because I don't want to skip my skincare at night in fear of getting a new pimple and having a bad skin the other day. 😅

✓ perfect sunscreen for people with oily skin like me, very moisturizing and lightweight on the skin
✓ I skip moisturizer in the morning because this product has moisturizing properties that is enough to keep my skin hydrated
✓ skin doesn’t look shiny after applying, my previous sunscreen looks greasy on my skin so this product is a life saver for me! 🥺😍
✓ fragrance-free
✓ no white cast
✓ absorbs quickly and leaves a light feeling on the skin, no stickiness at all
✓ doesn’t clog my pores

What I don’t like about this product: it makes my skin look more oily (I have oily skin) because it’s texture is like a lotion, I think people with dry skin will love this better than people with oily skin, but I still use this as I don’t break out with this product.

This is one of the best sunscreen I’ve ever used, unlike those sunscreen I’ve tried from the past that leaves white cast. I don’t break out with this product and it’s a good primer under your makeup. It has spf50+ that will protect your skin from harmful uv rays. I also use this even when I’m inside the house, to protect my skin from radiation. And sunscreen is also an anti aging product, a good investment for a skincare product!

❎ There’s a tight feeling after washing my face.
❎ It doesn’t clear my acne.

If you’re looking for an affordable cleanser that does its job, I recommend this cleanser from Senka, it effectively removes the oils and dirt from my face. A little goes a long way + it’s super foamy! (don’t mind the product next to senka, I took this photo months ago for my ig post 😅)

It’s too heavy on my skin. When the weather is hot, I became more oily with this product.

It smells medicinal for me, I like that this product didn’t break out my skin. I noticed that it works better on my skin when the weather is cold, since it’s made in Korea, I think this moisturizer is made for people who are living in a cold country.

Centella Asiatica has always been a part of my skincare routine, it is one of my favorite skincare ingredient because it has soothing properties that my oily skin has been benefiting and loving. This ampoule was very easy to incorporate in my routine because it’s lightweight and the texture is watery, it’s not sticky at all and absorbs quickly into my skin. I didn’t get any breakouts, in fact it clears some of my few acne scars that’s a week old (2 𝘸𝘦𝘦𝘬𝘴 𝘣𝘦𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘐 𝘳𝘦𝘤𝘦𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘥𝘶𝘤𝘵 𝘮𝘺 𝘴𝘬𝘪𝘯 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘣𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘩𝘢𝘥 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘧𝘦𝘸 𝘢𝘤𝘯𝘦 𝘴𝘤𝘢𝘳𝘴) but I didn&#39;t see any difference with my old scars. One pump is already enough for my whole face, and in the evening I pamper myself by putting 3-4 layers of this ampoule because it’s giving me a supple skin the next morning. This is a good product that will suit any skin type and everyone should give a try. ♡
