Hi, guys! My issue that I love eye patches. In summer I use them almost every day because of the puffiness - they help a lot! They’re my must have. But I imagine how harmful they are for our planet and ecology. Do you know some alternatives, which effectively helps with puffiness? Not ice, please 😉

Alcohol, perfume, not enough hydration, film feeling. I described everything above, so it would have been clear and logical. 

The SKIN HOUSE Marine Active Serum with real marine ingredients 🌊 

The claim of the brand: the serum provides rich moisture and hydration. It has some good ingredients as sodium hyaluronate, deep sea water, ceramide, aloe vera leaf extract etc. It should be non-sticky, give extra hydration, help to restore skin barrier. It developed for dehydrated skin, leaving a protective film to help retain moisture in skin for a long time.

My thoughts. Though it has hydrating ingredients, also there is alcohol in it. Usually I avoid using products with it, because it dries my skin. Also it has some perfume, I’m ok with that, but I know some of you avoid it too. It has a light scent, I would call it sea salty, and it’s pleasant for me.

The serum has light gel texture, which spreads good on the skin. It’s a little bit sticky even if I apply a tiny amount (one pump). That tacky feeling goes away after ~10 min. But after I feel kind of a thin film on my face. I don’t feel enough hydration for my normal skin. So I don’t agree with the claim of it being extra moisturizing and hydration. Of course, this is my personal experience and I see that it may work better for others, ‘cause I’ve seen some great reviews. In the end, we’re all different and not every product works best for everyone.

I should mention the packaging as well. It’s nice bottle, which looks and feels nice. It also has a protective cap. Overall, I wasn’t blown away by the product itself. Unfortunately. Maybe the ones with combo or oily skin will like the serum more.

Such a great basic hydration cream! It is lightweight, almost feels like gel. It distributes and absorbs quickly, leaving zero greasiness. It’s perfect to use under makeup. It gives great hydration and a little bit of nutrition. Also I noticed that it soothes my super sensitive skin. I love to pair it with different serums and essences. With all my heart I recommend it for any skin type, especially during summer.

I love patches! I tried a lot and have some personal preferences, so for me these are ine of the best. Now I use these patches, but also tried others frim tge brand, and all of them are similar. My nain issue is puffiness in the morning, also I use tgem to soften my wrinkles. The patches are great! They have cooling effect - just perfect amount for not being overwhelming or, vice versa, insensible on the skin. I love the size (not small), the amount of essence is just enough for not moving around, the hydrogel material is not thin. I leave them for 10-15 minutes under the eyes or on problem areas (like wrinkles, creases, folds). And the result is great: I feel fresh and ready to go. Also I would like to mention that after the patches I don’t need to wash my face or remove the excess, just pat a little and do my other skincare steps.

I was surprised by this palette! It’s full of sparkly and glittery shades, which perform great and so easy to use. The formula is so creamy, no fallout or creasing. I don’t even need a base for these eyeshadows like tacky one or glitter glue, even with glittery ones (there’re three). There is also one beautiful rosy-to-orange duochrome. 

It is perfect for me for everyday sparkly makeup looks, and there is something a little bit extra for special occasions. The eyeshadows are effortless, they give divine shine & wet effect. The finishes (and sparkles) go from the softest & tiniest to glitter itself (though as for my experience the particles in it smaller than in average). 

And what is important to me: the palette is vegan & cruelty free, it’s eco-friendly, and the glitter is biodegradable. I can conpare the effect of sparkly shades with Charlotte Tilbury pop shades, but CT ones are harder pressed, need to be build up, get hard paned and cost so much more.

UPDATE: I’ve changed my mind as for my “perfect sunscreen” and taken one star, because of one downside I’ve found after writing review. The sun cream stings my eyes horribly. Several times I couldn’t stop my tears until washing it all off. So it’s not good for undereye area. It’s not the end of the world, but it’s not very convenient to take another spf to use just around my eyes. So it’s kinda meh. 

I still love it on my face, the texture, the feel. But this is a huge downside for me. So I wouldn’t repurchase that guy, unfortunately. 

It seems like I’ve found my perfect sunscreen!

Cica Soothing Sun Cream has SPF50+ and PA++++. It contains 7 kinds of Centella Asiatica, which means perfect soothing effect. Also it should be moisturizing, brightening and have anti-wrinkle effect due to inositol, betaine, hyaluronic acid and niacinamide.

The texture is lightweight and greatly moisturizing (you can see it on my application video). It has no white cast, no heaviness or greasiness. It distributes easily and absorbs fairly quickly. I would say, give it 5-10 min. and you’re ready to go or apply your makeup.

The skin feels refreshed and soothed (yes for sensitive skin!). It really is lightweight and I don’t feel it throughout the day. The skin looks hydrated (I’ve tried to catch it on the photos). It has light almost unnoticeable scent. So far among sunscreens with chemical filters this one is my favorite 🔝 

It’s vegan, cruelty free and ree-safe, which I appreciate so much.
