What are the best moisturizers for nighttime routine, after retinol?

You guys I have to put this update in the discussion section because I am tapped out for these 2 products in Reviews.
Here goes: So I won the Centella Toning Toner and Centella Ampuole to match from #skin1004 (Thank u!). I started using it right away and loved the feel but wasn't 100% sure of any tangible results, like any new, natural and subtle product. I learned from one of the other @go.picky members that she had been using the product In addition to her nightly retinol regimen. I had been using retinol by the Ordinary for a considerable amount of time prior to receiving the centella products and incorporated it into my new routine. One night retinol, one night ampuole. It seemed to be working, again not tangible results but when you are as hard on your appearance as I am, you miss things that aren't drastic transformations lol (learning curve thx to #pickyskincare.  
Me being me, I always checkout the clearance racks at Shopper's drug mart  and low and behold, there it was, @Loreal revitalift CICACREAM Eye, for $9!!!
What harm could that do?? More is always better right!!!WRONG! I learned after the fact that eye cream is usually a marketing ploy however if gentle enough to go on eye area then it is gentle enough for lids, lips and back of hands. I went balls to the wall and slathered it on. Next day, feeling a little tight and burny, must be working!!!! Day 2 full on 1st and 2nd degree burns on 60% of my face!!! Gonna try to find a pic to add to this after I post it so I don't lose it. 
Ok so totally devastated and nothing touching my face for 3 days. Eyes swollen/burnt shut, just gross. After 3 days and ++ research, coupled with my science background; I chose castor oil as my next step, slowly incorporating my Ampuole back into my routine which is now just a light cleansing, castor oil, the Centella Ampuole and more castor oil and moisturizer (thick barrier type from @skin&lab. 
I have just in the past week, started using the Centella Toner again as, get this, my skin was craving the calming action in addition to ampuole. This meant that the lack there of results, or so I thought, weren't lack of results at all. I just couldn't see that the Centella products were not only calming but adding to the protection and beefing up my skin barrier which gave me a fighting chance for a freak burn, and the ability to bounce back after 5 or so days. It has also continued to help in not just the sense and healing but the calming as well to bring my skin back from angry to calm and content. 
Lessons learned:
1. More is not always better
2. Be careful with new products no matter how "thick u think tour skin is"
3. @skin1004 products are bomb
4. Your skincare products can be working in ways that don't always show us drastic results. Be patient
5. You need to protect the largest organ of your body, your SKIN
6.Always apply for giveaways because you just never know!

skin1004 Too many products!!!

Has anyone tried any products from HYGGEE, and if so what do you think. I am interested in the brightening/tightening mask. Lmk about any of their products. Thanks Picky peeps!

Just a wonderin'm

I just watched the youtube @go.picky on dermaplaning. My question is who is using the chemical exfoliators (glycolic acid etc )? Who is using the physical dermaplaning? Looking for positives and negatives on both, no matter your skin type, what is your experience with either?  The tags are just some of the acids I was looking into? Help???

I love it. It makes my skin feel refreshed and moisturized. At first I was using it pre moisturizer and sunscreen. However, one day when my skin was feeling so fabulous, I forgot to put my moisturizer on... I cam home unknowingly, looked in the mirror and could see the glow in my skin and a dewy finish. I was so uh!! Whetger it is lightening my skin, that wi take more time to ascertain, but it is moisturizing💦, making my skin look and feel so much better and beautiful to apply. The bottle is large (100ml), gorgeous and make it seem as though the drops twinkle on your skin. 🧚‍♀️
This product feels far superior than any other product, I am using currently. If it works as well as it feels, it will be a holy grail for many!🥰

I cannot think of a negative about this product.

This is the bright, ocean blue ckeanser with pump, that you look at and know it is going to start and end your day right. It cleans, refreshes your skin, beautifully. Iy foams into a lather as you rub into your skin. It makes the skin feel normal, not oily as you use and pat your face with a towel at the end of cleansing. This product does not leave tour skin feeling tight , just oil free! I definitely reccomend this cleanser, but make sure it has a bottle with pump #sephora.

The no brightening or anti-aging results J was hoping for and that were indicated on the packaging. I am really not sure about the exfoliating either but it&#39;s all balled up in part 1 of my review! Oops!

Well, I was so very excited to find out that I had won this lovely size bottle of toner that was supposed to help in brightening and anti-aging,from #pickyskincare and #skin1004. I love the fact that it is from the wilds of Madagascar as well.
This toner is formulated with 84% of Centella Asiatica Extra g from Madagascar. Daily use is said to maintain brightening of skin by exfoliating with each use while also calming and toning. That&#39;s a pretty tall order if you ask me and I think they got half of it right, for my skin that is. 
After cleaning my face I would apply my Centella Toner morning and evening most days, but lots of just mornings and just evenings as well. 
The toner felt great going on, had no weird smells and believe it or not it felt natural and dried very quickly for the next step. I could perhaps say it gave my skin a calming effect, and it had refreshing properties but no brightening or evidence of exfoliating; I would have to say. I haven&#39;t exfoliated my skin since I was 15 with clean and clear, and boy you knew that was working lol. I think I needed something a bit stronger for my oily, blemish friendly skin. Also because I work and sweat in some real yucky dirty situations. I agree it is welcoming on sensitive skin. This is after using it for just over a month. I posted a before picture and I will now give you my after. Also note that I used the toner and ampoule (which I will review next), about an hour ago. This is my first review of a product I received totally free from #pickyskincare in exchange for my honest review. Is there somewhere else I should be posting my review?

Hello everyone, just received and only had a chance to use it last night and this morning! However this stuff smells great, feels great and makes my skin oh so soft. The bottles (as I have the 3 from the giveaway) are beautiful as is the outer packaging. Thank you #go.picky #pickyrewards !

The only thing I can say is that it is really runny, you gotta catch it before it runs off your face!

serum, which I have been using for the past 2 weeks and I currently still use it when the weather is brrrcold 🥶 & I need a skincare product that can soothe & calm wind whipped and irritated skin with a rough/grainy texture or feel.

The packaging is from a dark green clear glass bottle using a dropper. It contains 30ml. The texture of this ampoule is a clear green gel, slightly runny (as you can see in the pics) once applied to the skin, it instantly melts, absorbs quickly, is not sticky & has a cooling sensation on the skin. Has a tea tree scent. 🌿  I use it in the morning & evening when my skin is irritated due to redness & muggy/cold weather. Usually I use 2 drops & enough for whole face. The result is not sticky & there is a cooling effect that helps reduce redness. The scent is also very calming. I have oily combination skin, and it is completely suitable to use this ampoule with a heavier moisturizer on top so it may absorb. I am an Rn (non practicing) who is exposed to everything under the sun including ++ sweating while I am working. In the Summer I landscape in extreme heat and in the Winter I accumulate and recycle/scrap metal in extremely cold weather. The reason I am so focused on the extremes of our seasons here in Windsor, is because of the absolute calming/moisturizing effect this has on my skin (I was gifted a sample a while back unrelated to this giveaway. With this Commonlabs product, it really helps relieve my skin. 🥰
