hey everyone! i'm looking for suggestions for eyeshadow palettes/singles with matte/satin formula. unfortunately, my eyes are sensitive to glitter and shimmers.

i prefer everyday neutral shades for work. i love eyeshadows that give a wash of colour. for reference, i really like the lighter shades in peripera's all take mood palette in #1 mood breathing.

ive been looking at some korean eyeshadow palettes but most of them have some form of shimmer or glitter. im open to eyeshadows outside of the kbeauty sphere!

i'm currently using peripera's ink black cara (03 clear set curling). it has a thin consistency. the formula is slightly lengthening but not volumising so it isn't extremely noticeable on the lashes.

when i'm removing the mascara using kose's speedy cleansing oil, i can't tell if i've removed my mascara properly. how do ya'll tell whether mascara has been completely removed? 🤔

besides mascara removers from brands like heroine make/cezanne etc, are there any gentle and effective cleansing oils/makeup removers ya'll recommend for mascara? i'm losing quite a few lashes with every cleanse 🥲would love to hear your thoughts on the mascara removers too!

i could smell the orange oil even though it is low on the ingredient list. would be better if they removed it entirely! :-)

one of the best sunscreens in terms of texture! super lightweight and felt like a moisturiser!

• the brand is not very accessible. i bought the serum from oliveyoung global at $21.60USD. for a basic hydrating serum, it’s really pricey.
• tbh, i bought this because it looks pretty 😅 and also because it was ranked as the #1 serum on the hwahae app in 2019.
• it does what it claims but doesn’t offer anything beyond hydration. i won’t be repurchasing this due to the price. there are similar options in the market at a much lower price point.

edit: they opened a shopee mall shop so it&#39;s much more affordable now!

cant find any cons now that torriden more accessible and hence cheaper in my country. not a fan of the “formula facts check” list though 🤷🏻‍♀️

• plastic dropper packaging. the holographic foil of the design is a really nice touch.
• the serum’s colour is derived from malachite extract and doesn’t contain any additional colourants. it’s also unscented!
• the texture is extremely lightweight for a hyaluronic acid serum. it doesn’t leave a tacky finish and sinks in really quickly. perfect for humid weather and oily or dehydrated skin types!
• there is a temporary plumping effect which is typical for HA serums. it also kept my skin hydrated. besides that, i haven’t noticed other benefits.
• it doesn’t sting my skin during eczema flare up. that’s always a win for me! 🥰

edit: after using the entire bottle, i started to notice the soothing effects. i also noticed that once i stopped using it, some of my redness came back. i might buy another bottle again to see if it really helps with redness.

this is the most lightweight hyaluronic serum i’ve tried so far. has a slight viscosity but absorbs really fast without tackiness. i’ve previously reviewed it and thought it was mediocre. but now i think it’s the best HA serums i’ve tried. when paired with the toner, it helps to hydrate my skin deeply and calms down my skin too. after emptying the previous bottle i bought (30ml), i found that my skin was looking much more hydrated and healthier. irritation from my eczema patches also went down. i think this serum works best when stored in a fridge, the cooling sensation really helps to calm down my skin.

👎🏻 this is very specific but it tastes like the scent of mama lemon dish soap. yes, the scent… 🤢 you know, similar to that bitter taste when you accidentally get soap in your mouth while showering.

🩷 extremely moisturising and occlusive. i love using this when i know i’m gonna be in an air-conditioned environment for a long time. it works really well to soften my chapped lips! it doesn’t wear off easily and stays put on my lips pretty well. i love using this as a lip sleeping mask! i wouldn't use it in the day time because it's too thick and may feel ucomfortable when worn out. just imagine your hair sticking on it and getting all messy. also, a little goes a long way so this will probably last me a year or longer 🙌🏻

after using it for a month, i saw a great improvement in skin texture! just bought it in the bigger size!

👎🏻 this is too occlusive for very oily skin types. this also contains fragrance but has not triggered my eczema (yet) because i only use a teeny bit each time.

🤍 tocobo describes this as a chiffon-layering moisturising layer — this is the perfect description of how it feels on the skin. this comes in really handy for dry patches! it’s does not provide much of a humectant/emollient effect and is an occlusive type of cream. i’d recommend using your regular moisturiser underneath and then using this solely on dry patches.

i'm using this as a hand cream now (i've got too many moisturisers to go through) and i really like it. it helps with dry patches immensely and doesn't seem to trigger any hand eczema.
