There is NO downside to using either of the Dear Klairs Daily Water products. I have used both and both are GREAT!

This is advertised as a gentle exfoliant toner, so I don’t think it’s suitable for daily use even though the bottle say “Daily”. But other than that I haven’t experienced any negative effects.
