Not something bad, just a matter of preference — although I like this and might even pick up the full size at a later time, I still prefer the Sulwhasoo Ginseng Eye Cream.

I’ve only used a sachet sample so this is not a comprehensive review. 

This eye cream has a rich and creamy texture which I really like for my very dry under eye area. I enjoyed using it. It spread easily despite being thick and was absorbed nicely. It didn’t make the skin around my eyes oily, rather made it feel hydrated and moisturized. There were no stinging nor irritation on both skin and eyes. I can’t verify its efficacy on reducing the look of wrinkles since that needs constant and long-term use. 

This contains antioxidants, skin brightening, anti-aging, moisturizing, and soothing ingredients including: Shea Butter, Squalane, Olive Oil, Ubiquinone (Q10), Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate (C derivative), and Retinyl Palmitate. 

The formula is alcohol and fragrance-free. It does contain Arachis Hypogaea Oil which is obtained from peanuts — those with peanut allergies might want to patch test first or maybe just look for a different eye cream. Studies show that highly processed oil does not contain any peanut proteins (the allergens) but better safe than sorry.

It has an odd smell, I used it for a year and only saw minimal decrease in fine lines. 

It’s relatively inexspensive and DHC is a well known trusted Japanese brand. It is very light.
