this product has nice gel texture. it contains zinc which is proven to help with acne and it helps with oily skin. i also really like the kinda clean smell.

Cons: Because of its capacity to control oil, it feels a little dry on my skin. I don't have a problem with the fragrance, so I don't mind too much, but please keep it in mind if you don't like it.

Effaclar Foaming Purifying Gel

I received 2 samples of La Roche Posay Effaclar Purifying foaming gel lately from Sampler and I got to test the product for 2 weeks now. It’s 15 ml samples and I still have some gel left to use so I think the 200 ml or 400 ml format would last long! ...

There is no salycilic acid in this La Roche Posay gel cleanser so it is safe to use during pregnancy, but I do try to avoid Phenoxyethanol in the products I use while trying to conceive, because it could be an endocrine disruptor.
