It is hydrating and has a "rich" kind of texture. I use it only for my lips, because it's too oily for the rest of my face

Holds only for 1-2 hours. I can taste the castor oil, which I don't really like to taste!

It's good for dry skin, I tend to use this balm on my hands

Not superior to good old vaseline

I like that this is fragrance-free and doesn’t clog my poors. A lot of multi-use balms are oily and greasy and don’t fair well with my acne prone skin, but this is great!

Not hydrating enough. I think when I can’t find a balm or notice I have a patch of dry skin when out and about this will do the trick. It feels more occulative rather than hydrating - It may work best over a lotion or lipmask to seal it in.

I purchased the version with shimmer, which is a shimmery take on the classic version of the balm. It uses biodegradable iridescent pearls of tin oxide to give a hint of shimmer where applied. It works as well and looks as good on the cheeks as it do...

I would have liked more humectants in the balm.
