🏜️Comparison of Highly Rated Sunscreen

This SPF doesn’t provide sufficient sunscreen protection since its only UV filter is Titanium Dioxide. 

In order for a mineral sunscreen to be effective and protect against UVA and UVB rays, it needs to also contain Zinc Oxide. 

Titanium Dioxide does protect against UVA (aging) sun rays but only the UVA short rays, not the long UVA rays which can be more damaging. 

I feel like this has been falsely advertised because its labeled “broad spectrum” and if people dont understand which UV filters are necessary for adequate sun protection, they could fall victim to thinking this may be enough.

When I first put it on, I thought I had somehow misread it and bought a chemical sunscreen because it felt just like a chemical sunscreen when applying. It was easy for me to blend in and felt light and hydrating.

I instantly went back to my phone to look it up and was shocked when I saw that it 𝘸𝘢𝘴 a mineral sunscreen! 

(Because is you’ve ever used a mineral&#47;physical spf, you know how they just feel different... usually more chalky and harder to blend in)

I instantly wanted to try this on my fiancé since he’s black and I was excited to see if this would be a mineral spf that would work for him. I even tried it on my friend who’s skin tone is kinda in between both mine and my fiancé’s. 

They both said they didn’t notice a white cast on themselves and just noticed a little bit of a glow and a hydrated look. 

It feels lightweight and hydrating, and I love how the ingredients are perfect for my sensitive skin, especially since there’s no fragrance or alcohol in it, and with rosacea, I have to stay away from those.

Now, I realize this only has the one filter and titanium dioxide does not quite have the full UV spectrum protection that a lot of us prefer but that being said, I am a very firm believer of any sunscreen you enjoy using is better than not wearing any at all!

It has a lovely light, almost milky texture that spreads very easily and leaves no whitecast! I’m a very white, white girl but I genuinely believe this is a mineral sunscreen that can work on darker skin tones too 😍😱😍 @glowbyramon has a great review on YouTube for any of you melanin endowed beauties to compare.

It can feel kinda wet upon application but doesn’t take to long to work in and dries down quickly to a beautiful satin finish I personally adore. It is moisturizing without being heavy or greasy. It does not pill or collect in my eyebrow hairs and it works fantastically under makeup. 

This has some beautiful, nourishing and soothing ingredients; ceramides, mugwort, honeysuckle extract, green tea, amino acids, and hyaluronic acid. It genuinely helps calm my skin on days where my skin is feeling a lil irritated or after exfoliation. I find myself reaching for this as my spf more often than I don’t. 

I tend to use this more on “indoor” days where I know I will not be in full, direct sunlight but I normally wear some sort of hat to protect my face when I’m outside. I’ve had no issues so far with this spf not providing enough protection so do with that what you will. 

In conclusion, if you struggle with finding a sunscreen you like, have sensitive skin and need&#47;prefer mineral spf, crave something moisturizing but not heavy, this is a solid option. I am nearly out of this tube and I will be sad when it’s empty.

I am currently using this SPF as last step of my morning skincare routine and it has been almost 3 months since I first tried it. I actually felt in love from the day one.
It is a gentle and lightweight sun cream, formulated with naturally derived extracts  and fitted with powelful, broad-spectrum SPF 45 PAA+++ to fend off UV rays and free radicals, giving full skin protection.
It is also enriched with hyaluronic acid, ceramide and plant-based extracts. So it soothes and moisturizes the skin.
This is scent-free formula and contains only EWG certified ingredients ( honeysuckle extract, green tea extract and mugwort extract) that help to repair the skin’s barrier.
Also this SPF doesn’t leave white residue.
This sun cream is suitable for both kids and adults and it comes in size of 75ml.

2. Dry skin beauties may find it less moisturing
3. Even while wearing it outdoor I got Sunburn.
