When opening the bottle there is a strong eucalyptus oil smell, which can be off-putting as it reminds me of a chest rub ๐ This essence It contains fragrance, dyes and eucalyptus oil which may be irritating for some people.

Average hydration Marketed as a calming and soothing product but contains lactic acid that might misinform the average consumer not quite familiar with ingredients. No instructions on appropriate time usage. I would advise night time use only.

I was confused as this is labelled an essence but it had no instructions on which step to use it. I find it to be like a serum. The scent may be strong for some as it contains eucalyptus.
