• The bareMinerals Skinlongevity Long Life Herb Serum is an upgrade of the Vital Power Infusion Serum. This newer serum is boosted with Long Life Herb, a mineral-rich and skin-strengthening superfood responsibly harvested from Okinawa, Japan. I feel that this is the brand’s attempt at getting the attention of Asian skincare users and fans.

• The Skinlongevity Serum has a bunch of lovely ingredients: niacinamide, ascorbyl glucoside (vitamin C derivative), and peptides (palmitoyl tetrapeptide-7, palmitoyl tripeptide-1). All are pretty high up on the list too! This product claims to visibly strengthen the skin‘s barrier by 45% to better defend against sun, pollution, and aging damage.

• I love the watery and light texture of this serum. It glides onto skin and absorbs quickly. Immediately, my skin is left nicely hydrated and soft to the touch. It has a pleasant scent that is not overpowering.

• My skin didn’t get dull when I dropped all my other serums and used the Skinlongevity Long Life Herb Serum exclusively. I was expecting my skin to revert to its pre-niacinamide booster days but it did not. My skin still looked glowy and healthy. The effect might be from the combination of my trusty toner, fermented essence, and this serum but it goes to show that the niacinamide and peptides in this multitasking serum are effective, I don’t need standalone products for those ingredients although I’ll still use a separate ascorbic acid serum for stubborn dark spots and tretinoin for anti-aging.

• This all-in-one serum is perfect when I don’t have the time to use two or three single-ingredient products. I usually use more than one serum even if it makes my routine longer (me time!) but this serum is nice to have during those lazy days when minimal steps are more appealing.

• This serum is housed in a tall, slender frosted glass bottle with a pump.

I havent seen much of a difference in wrinkle reduction.

I love the way this serum feels on my skin. Its lightweight and easy to use. My skin feels hydrated after using.

·       Non greasy or non-sticky formula;
·       Pleasant, light, non-irritating scent;

·       Has low chance of fungal acne (2 triggers);
·       Has that luxurious design;
·       Pump packaging.

I quite enjoyed using this luxurious product. Of course, there are a lot of good and not so good ingredients in this creation. Lightweight consistency and non-irritating scent give this product a pleasant usage experience. It is great to use under make up as a primer&#47;base. It does give your skin that soft feeling. However, the price is too steep for me to repurchase but glad I could test it.

It smells good and makes your skin very smooth!

The product for me was amazing, But because of some of the ingredients it may cause irratants for some.

I stagger different serums throughout the week to help nourish my skin with all the benefits of each product that another might not have. I like the feel of this on the skin. Quick to absorb, very delicate fragrance. Doesn’t leave your skin shines or oily looking.
