Nothing bad about this product. I just have other products that are more soothing than this.

💭Thoughts: This essence is such a beautiful green tint. It’s hydrating, cooling and soothing. Slightly viscous. Absorbs quickly. No irritations. Faint citrusy scent. Love the ingredients. Dries like it was never there. As for the packaging, I adore the minimalist dropper bottle, which is made of glass & is recyclable.

💦 Texture: The texture is the aqueous type with slightly viscous and has a light green color texture. It smells like mild fruity and fresh scent that it's very calming. It is very lightweight, spreads easily and quickly absorbed throughout my skin. Non sticky and does not leave a greasy sensation at all.

🌱 Thought: The essence glass bottle looks like a serum bottle. I started to fall in love with this essence for the first time I tried it. It is very relaxing my tired skin, hydrating and most importantly, my skin feels very healthy.  I like the way I feel when I wake up in the morning. I found that it controls my oil sebum and really good at calming down pimples that are pus filled and inflamed, and tiny bump completely disappears as well.

🌸 Recommendation: Suitable for all skin types, in particular for damaged skin barrier and stressful skin. If you love lightweight calming essence, you really gotta try this someday 😍

I have never tried anything from Dr. Althea before and to receive their collection got me over the moon!

They have a very vintage and English styled packaging which I adore very much! It is the packaging that you will end up keeping it on your vanity forever! It is so aesthetic and elegant! This essence comes in a pretty see through glass bottle with a green hue coloured essence. I am in love with the ingredients listed! Many of them are my favourite!

The essence is very lightweight, watery and has a mild floral scent. The scent itself is very calming. The texture is not at all sticky and non-greasy which makes me think that it suits all types of skin. It spred on skin smoothly, rapidly absorbed and leaves a semi-matte finish. I must say, this essence is good to use under make-up.

After several weeks of usage, I can say that it does soothe my reddened skin and reduce the appearance of my angry acnes. However, it takes longer to show effects. I&#39;m sure it will be a great help to my skin problems once I&#39;ve finished the whole bottle.

It is not very hydrated, therefore I highly recommend you to use other hydrating skincare products in your next step, be it serum or moisturizer.

I personally think it would be pretty suitable for hot and humid weather but I don’t think this is very enough for the cold and dry weather. 

Texture is watery and pretty light, and not leaving any oily and greasy feeling. It contains 85% of Centella Asiatica Extract and most of the ingredients are non-irritant and safe to be used two of the ingredients such as limonene and linalool might cause allergic (take note abt this) 

I use this whenever my face has some small break out or a lil rashes around my lips to soothe my face. So it’s actually a pretty good ampoule essence to me
