I've experienced some piling around my nose, but that's because I used gel moisturizer, so I recommend you to apply thicker moisturizer instead of gel.

It builds up a little when you reapply 3 or 4 layers but ain't bad. However, if you've used moisturizer, you might experience some Peeling. Definitely it ain't a good match with silicones based moisturizers.
