This has honestly become a HG toner for me, and once I&#39;ve opened and finished my current and new toners, I&#39;m gonna restock it.

I had never heard of the skin benefits of Job&#39;s Tears (Pearl Barley) before I discovered and fell in love with @tinatanakaharris channel on Youtube where she raved about the popular Hatomugi Skin Conditioner Lotion from Japanese brand Naturie. 

Before I got around to buying the Naturie lotion, I stumbled upon this product from Matsumoto Kiyoshi (Japan&#39;s biggest beauty &amp; drugstore chain) and was intrigued by the ingredients so I thought I&#39;d give it a go instead and boy, am I happy I did!

The Matsukiyo Pearl Barley in Skin Lotion boasts an impressive ingredient list including:
Job&#39;s Tears Seed Extract + Ferment Filtrate, Oryza sativa (rice) bran extract, Ascorbyl Glucoside, Arbutin , Glycerin, Sodium Hyaluronate, Aloe Vera Leaf Extract and Chlorella Extract. 

Job&#39;s Tears Seed Extract is rich in protein, essential amino acids and nutrients such as calcium, iron, and vitamin B and helps manage hyperpigmentation, blemishes and to brighten and even out skin tone. When used topically, amino acids work to hydrate and plump your skin by building collagen and reducing inflammation leading cellular repair.

Oryza sativa (rice) bran extract is a rich source of over 100 antioxidant compounds,  including vitamin E, ferulic acid,  oryzanol and ethyl α-d-glucoside which promotes skin cell regeneration and has anti-inflammatory properties.

Chlorella is a freshwater algae that is rich in protein, iron, and vitamins A, B, and C. It helps improve overall skin tone, restore the production of the skin’s collagen, and fight against aging and permanent sun damage, as well as calms unwanted redness and inflammation on the skin. 

The lotion has a milky and watery texture but with an ever so faint touch of viscosity to it and absorbs really nicely and easily into my oily skin without any feeling of stickiness. I use this after cleansing my face and it feels really lovely, hydrating and moisturising. 

I&#39;ve been using this for months and I definitely see the above mentioned benefits, my skin has a brighter, more even tone and feels plump and healthy. My friend who I gifted it to is also a big fan!

This is a huge 500 ml bottle which has lasted me for several months, even though I layer it 2-3 times AM and PM. At 159 THB&#47;approximately 4-5 USD this is an absolute steal!
